Kansas and Kentucky were the only two schools with four individuals named to the 2014 50-man list. Alexander and Oubre were two of seven freshmen on the list and the Big 12 Conference led the way with 10 picks. Perry Ellis and Wayne Selden, Jr. round out the list of KU players.

Kansas: Junior college athlete Cory Butler flipped from Utah to Kansas this summer. He went back to Utah last week, committing to the Utes after taking an official visit. Butler could've been a receiver or defensive back for Kansas out of Los Angeles Harbor College, but he says he'll play cornerback at Utah.

Big Offensive Man on Campus: Michael Cummings threw for 332 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for another score. The Horned Frogs were so nervous about Cummings beating them at the end of the game they went for a fourth-and-one instead of kicking a field goal and giving him the ball with a chance to score a touchdown and win the game on a potential two-point conversion.

Kansas senior Jimmay Mundine was named one of eight semi-finalists for the John Mackey Award Monday morning, it was announced by The John Mackey Award. Mundine is the first Kansas player to be named a semi-finalist for the award, which has been in existence since 2000.
University of Kansas Football - Sunflower Showdown Set For 3 p.m., Kickoff
Kansas football will travel to Kansas State for the annual Sunflower Showdown and its 2014 season finale on Saturday, Nov. 29. The game, which will air on FOX Sports 1 (FS1), is slated for 3 p.m., the Big 12 Conference announced on Monday.

Dwayne Gratz had a weird Saturday night. Or maybe Sunday morning. At 5:53 a.m. on Sunday, Miami beach police arrested the Jaguars cornerback and cited him for disorderly intoxication and trespassing after trying to pay for items at a store with bubble gum.
Police: Drunk Nebraska Fan Tried To Jump Over Taxi, Failed
On arrival officers learned that Consbruck, (who was visiting Madison from Nebraska for today's football game) intentionally ran into traffic in an attempt to jump over a moving Union Taxi cab. Mr. Consbruck failed in his attempt, sustaining facial injuries in the process. Officers found Consbruck to be intoxicated and he was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. After citing Consbruck for Sudden Pedestrian Movement, Consbruck gave the officers an expletive laden statement in which he hopes the "Huskers" defeat the Badgers and that he promises to "never try and jump over a moving car again".
