On Wednesday, Apple is set to reveal its new iPhone 7 - and an analyst known for reliable Apple leaks has revealed exactly what to expect.
Ming-Chi Kuo, from KGI Securities, has a long track record of accurate Apple predictions - and his latest report reveals some interesting details.
Apple IS set to remove the headphone jack from the new handset, as has long been rumoured.
Apple will include a Lightning to headphone jack adapter, and wireless earbuds, with every iPhone 7.
But Apple is also set to make what may be a more welcome change - the new handsets will be waterproof (to the IPX7 certification) and able to withstand immersion.
The new phone will have a dramatically faster processor - a new Apple A10 chip, clocked at up to 2.4GHz.
The larger iPhone 7 will feature two cameras on the back - used to boost image quality without making the phone ‘fatter’.
KGI says the dual camera system will be used to enable zoom functions and ‘light field photography’ - where users focus shots after taking them.
The screen sizes of the two models will stay the same, at 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches, but the image quality will get a significant upgrade.
The new screen will copy the visual features of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, meaning wide-colour imagery - which should make photos look better.
A new camera flash component will boost low-light photography, with four LEDS instead of two - and ‘warmer’ colour for better images.
There’s no longer a 16Gb or 64Gb memory option - instead, users will be offered 32Gb, 128Gb and 256Gb.
The new phone will come with two colour options - ‘dark black’ and glossy ‘piano black’, replacing the old Space Grey.
