Hometown Healer segment: “Tears of joy is all I do…these days. My personal nightmare started back in 2011, a car accident developed into Secondary Lymphoma Stage III, in both legs. My back hurt so much I had to sleep upright in my chair, by morning I had “elephant” legs… I jump ahead in time to last December when I went once again to emergency…this was the 4th time since 2011…however this was the most serious…it seems I went into a coma like state Christmas eve and did not wake up until mid-Febuary, by this time I had a trach and a feeding tube. By March I finally left the hospital to start my rehab…I am happy to tell you by mid May both the trach and feeding tube were removed!!!! I still had my Lymph issues thou in both legs…I was finally discharged on June 9th my welcome home gift from my parents was your 6 week program (B1). Anyway here it is about 6 weeks and my legs are not swelling up anymore…no more wrapping my legs up…no more uncomfortable garments no more feeling I need to hide my legs and wear slacks… I just want to say THANKS SO MUCH..I plan on keeping up this program!!! Question/Comments of the Day: Good Morning, I watched your interviews on The Truth About Cancer and have just discovered your website, where I began by buying the Echo 7 for my water today. I have read books and blogs and listened to health and nutrition shows for years and honestly have become so confused by the myriad of often conflicting opinions as to what a regular working guy can afford to do to help ensure the health of himself and his wife. Getting the Echo 7 is certainly a crucial beginning I know, as I have focused on drinking lots of alkaline water daily. I am planning on starting juicing with a masticating juicer as well. Eating organic food is an available option as well, and I eat only grass fed beef when I do eat beef. But then I am hearing and reading that maybe we shouldn’t eat beef or chicken as they are acidic, yada yada yada……. Arghhhh!!!!
For a regular person with a limited budget, can you possibly suggest a brief prioritized list of what I should be focusing my time and money on to give me the best bang for the buck, so to speak?

Obituary: Dr. Hal Huggins passed away peacefully at his Colorado Springs home Saturday, November 29, 2014. He was 77. Dr. Huggins rightfully earned the title of “Elder Statesman” of Holistic Dentistry. He is also known as a leading pioneer and the “Grand Father” of identifying and treating medical problems caused by toxic dental materials.

Dr. Huggins received his DDS degree over 50 years ago at the University of Nebraska and practiced for decades in Colorado Springs. Continuing his education in 1990, he received his post-doc master’s degree from the University of Colorado, with an emphasis on immunology and toxicology.
He presented over 2,500 lectures in 47 of the US states and 16 foreign countries. He authored many books, wrote over 50 articles, and gave over 1,000 Radio/TV interviews, including 60 Minutes Australia (1989) and 60 Minutes New Zealand (2007). As founder of the Multi-Discipline Alliance of Professionals, he ensured continuing education for dentists desiring to learn the Huggins dental protocol. Training includes helping their patients avoid and recover from ailments caused by harmful dental procedures.
He devoted his last years to establishing the Huggins Applied Healing center (www.drhuggins.com), but his greatest passion was the recent formation of the Dental DNA laboratory (www.dentaldna.us). This sophisticated facility specializes in the detection of dangerous, disease causing DNA that reside within root canals, cavitations, implants, and other oral environments.
Dr. Huggins was a caring and sensitive man who dedicated his life’s work to helping humanity. He was loved by his patients, professional colleagues, and staff for his compassion, generosity, and willingness to give of himself. His greatest joy was helping those on their quest to recover from the many degenerative diseases caused by silver (mercury) fillings and heavy metal toxicity from other dental materials.
He is survived by: three children, David Huggins and Chip Elizabeth of Colorado, Holden “Denny” Conover of Alaska; two grandchildren, Patricia and Michael Conover; and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6, at 1:00pm, at the Center for Spiritual Living, 3685 Jeannine Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80917. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Toxic Element Research Foundation (TERF), 5082 List Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80919.
