Activating the timeless code

And so it begins. On the day cursed by the Templars in honors of Jacques DeMolay’s arrest and subsequent death on Friday, October 13th, 1307, the final square between Uranus and Pluto initiates the last, major cycle of catalysis. Imagine the ward of planetary fields torqueing at angles of extreme disruption and potential, magnetic fields in dynamic collision, with Mars riding on tip of it all, whipping the celestial surge into a potent and dynamic field of transformation. This is where we are as we head into our own version of the Hadron collider, anticipating the Solar Eclipse, New Moon and Vernal Equinox all on one, burning day in the not-so-distant-future. Then, shortly, thereafter, a Blood Moon on Passover—are you ready for it? Even if you aren’t, well, it doesn’t matter. We’re all learning on the fly anyway in the post-history of the world that no one ever managed to tell you ended.

When I was back in Boulder last week, Jay Weidner surfaced a topic we had talked about before, briefly, that the world as we knew it did indeed change on 12/21/12, but not in the way that we could have foreseen. His premise (which I agree with) was the subtle, but pervasive awakening that is rippling through our collective awareness. People are getting wise. They are seeing the fracturing fractals of our pixilated reality. The world is on dial up and we’re fiber-optically connected into the grid of creation. There is a beauty and a danger to this potent epiphany, and that the world is an illusion and yet it is deadly real. We’re playing for keeps and yet we’re not. This is the sublime paradox of the liminal state.

We awaken to find the scripts are almost always the same; a dropped passport here, a license there, a brand new copy of the Koran strategically placed, some activist actor screaming at the system, punching the air, demanding justice for this or that. It’s like an unending reel of Samsara, played again and again and again and again. It doesn’t matter how fat the asses get, or how thick the mascara, or how many men or women switch sides, it just becomes a cliché script that we’re all supposed to fall into, either aghast or appreciably applauding the social disruption as progress towards a more tolerant society.

People are wiping the sleepers from the corners of their dreaming eyes and they awakening into the bi-polar dimensions of angels and saints viewing the horror and the wonder of the world, trying their best to determine how to live with hearts on fire and minds on ice. This is where we are.

The Templars were hanging in the South of France with the Albigensians and they were amassing quite a bit of power and influence, enough to take on both Paris and Rome. They were Gnostics, likely touched by Mary Magdalene herself amongst the masses. They believed that this world was fallen and the creation of a lesser deity aka a demiurge. This demiurge has many names; Ahriman, Samael, Satan and Yahweh. The 18th century, poet-mystic-artist, William Blake saw this demiurge differently. First off, he split it into a number of fallen attributes; Los, Enithramon and the big daddy, Urizen or your reason. Blake, a gnostic and also likely a Mason, saw the greater deity, the one that vibrated above the fallen world as reachable through energy, joy and delight. But I am getting just slightly ahead of myself.

Back in 1307, they were establishing a very different kind of society in the South of France. Christ aka Jesus was not merely a divine mortal whose sacrifice would become the great myth of surrender and dis-empowerment for centuries to come, but a radical activist of the spirit and the faith. I have written about this in previous posts and the reason I am returning to it, is because of the dynamic and power of the Uranus Aries/Pluto Cap square, the very last in this sequence of destruction, disruption and awakening. Uranus in Aries is ultimately distilled into the radicalization of the human spirit through the manifestation of will and authentic self-expression. This of course rubbing and grinding against the minions of Sauron/Saturn, the time lords (Capricorn) of the underworld (Pluto). While these energies are like deep-sea vents enervating and heating things up, they are fairly a-gnostic, meaning that they are neither associated with the lower or the higher realms and the potential can be tapped and used by the dualistic agencies of this world. In essence, the liberating forces of Mars and Uranus in Aries can be channeled and activated to look like beheadings (Hello Uranus In Aries!) or blood spilled, real or otherwise on the streets of Ferguson. That very same energy, is the current of your own self-realization.

Just as the Babylonian money changers no doubt see Pluto in Capricorn as their time to own the entire planet, it is also the same energy that demands you see your life as vital and important as IBM, Chase, Chevy and Rand. You must take ownership of your own enterprise. I know, know, without slush funds and fat cat lobbyists, zero-interest loans and incorporated privilege, you don’t stand a chance, but that’s not entirely true, because the “little guy” is a potent seed of the almighty, the kernel of all that is, bound and blinded by our own consent.

Mars comes forth and demands action on your front. We’re not talking a million-people march to the White House demanding our sovereignty, but the moment-to-moment, day-to-day occupation of your own consciousness, to make choices that a vibrant, sacred, organic and alive. And how do we know what this is? Well, first, you have to know thyself, but in reality, it is all about resonance, the golden mean, the Pi frequency of our souls; test it, feel it, taste it. If your choices resonate and vibrate with your body/spirit/mind or gut/heart/head, then you know you are moving in the right direction and life unfolds accordingly. Let your divine design emanate from within.

This has very little to do with ideology or prevailing trends. These qualities are timeless, holy and sacred. They affirm life, love and a deep and abiding respect for all of creation, while honoring death as a partner in this play of shadow and light. It’s pretty simple actually, but we have been hijacked over time to believe that those values are sentimental and weak—they are anything but that.

In the paradoxical universe, where the stakes are high, it seems as though we must choose between freedom and security, which really translates into a choice between love and fear and no matter how well meaning people think they are in demanding that we protect those that we love or even ourselves from our misguided attempts to live authentically, they are still rooted in a place of consent/control. And who are they? Shadows, actors, replicants of ourselves living in a feudal past. Love them and gratefully embrace your ability to make choices based upon your own gnosis, and your own volition. Celebrate, support and love those who are doing the same.

Aries is Spring, it is youth eternal. With Uranus in Aries, we also get the flipside, which is what Uranus does. It turns energy inside out, so while we are activating the radicalization of the spirit, we also have to invoke the other (Libra) and youth is not-so-eternal. Given that, in the hours and the days of the last of these massive squares, it is time to grow up. Time to embrace our own accountability.

While we square dance with the stars, Neptune oscillates as the dream generator of our time. Saturn in Sag, also in square demands that we become thoughtful and aspirational with long-term thinking. In Ursula LeGuin’s “Lathe Of Heaven” George Orr is a dreamer who can shape reality through effective dreaming. His therapist, William Haber takes control of George’s power and end racism, over-population, etc., the results are effective but never what Haber intended, for instance, when Haber decides that the Earth needs to be rif of racism, Orr dreams that everyone now has the same, grey skin. Or when Haber decides that there are too many people on Earth, Orr dreams up a massive plague to wipe out most of the planet.

Orr is Neptune in Pisces. Haber is Saturn in Sag, however, he is rooted in the Saturn or Capricornian side of the equation, becoming timelord/CEO of Orr’s dream generated realities. Haber’s intentions start off as being humanitarian, but never comprehends the long-range consequences of his intentions. And, just like Capricorn/Saturn, he profits handsomely of every twisted iteration of Orr’s dream world. It is when Orr finally awakens in his own nightmare/dream and wants to stop Haber, who is ready to move from directing Orr’s dream life, to essentially becoming Orr himself, a fallen deity of an imperfect world. Orr manages to stop Haber and halt the mutation of reality and the disruption of timelines, history and memory and while the world/planet is saved, it is changed and somewhat different as a result of it’s vast permutations summoned by Haber, manifest by Orr. It aint perfect, but it’s the closest thing that Orr can come up with that reflects some type of normalcy.

In some ways we’re both Haber and Orr, the director and the dreamer, Saturn and Neptune. Remember, your dreams have power and do your very best to anchor and ground them with conscious awareness and as much long range potential as possible, but the real lesson here is that Orr consented to Haber to be in charge of his dreams. It is only when he wakes up, does he realize that the power was his all along. Wake up to the potential of your dreams.
