Helping out: Halfway Home Pet Rescue - Halfway Home Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless animals and providing a safe haven for these animals until a permanent home can be found. While in our care, these animals are examined by a veterinarian and given proper medical attention (including spay/neuter). Halfway Home Rescue is comprised of a very small group of volunteers dedicated to making a difference. We operate 100% on private donations. While our primary focus has been on cats, in the last few years we have branched out to rescue dozens of dogs, small animals, and even several horses. In 2011, over 700 animals passed through Halfway Home Rescue Inc. on their way to forever homes or back to their feral colonies as part of a Trap/Neuter/Return program!
