Were it not for Michael Warner’s sharp ears, an innocent life would’ve been lost on Father’s Day. Warner and his family had attended a Kansas City Royals match and they were leaving the venue when he heard some incessant noise.
He had his family spread around the parking lot to find the source of the whimper. Turns out, it was a little dog left locked up in a car in all the hot weather. In fact, Warner was leaving the place because it was too hot!
The smart guy called 911 and had the go-ahead to save the troubled animal. A staff member waited for the car owner who never showed up in time, so he left them a notice, but they still never showed up to pick their pet. The staff member took the animal to the local shelter.
