…or something like that. Hello lovely readers! Happy Friday! Welcome to the new and improved Rhyme & Ribbons! Not only with a new design, but this will be my first post as a WordPress based blogger. The content is now mine! All mine! It’s all the work of the amazing Kate of Kate Jordan Design. Not only is she responsible for my spiffy new look, she’s also been responsible for my sanity over the last few days.  (I was extraordinarily anxious about the move for no reason. Especially since Kate literally did all the work.)

There are still a few kinks to iron out, some categories and pages to update, and hopefully you’ll bear with me.

What do you all think?

It’s time again to introduce to you this month’s featured sponsors! I hope you find a new read, and I am confident that you’ll enjoy these ladies as much as I do.

I love Iris’ mantra on loving the way she looks, embracing the laugh lines, crows feet and anything in between. Iris also reminds us of the great lessons that can be found in children’s books, specifically the adventures of Anne Shirley.  And enjoy her black and white photography in her post about Chesapeake Bay.

To learn more about Marielle, a good place to start is by reading her story behind the blog post. I loved reading the post where Marielle shared some of her favourites photos from her travels, but especially some of the shots that she took in China and Cambodia. One of the first posts I read from Marielle was her ‘Fictional Places I Want to Visit‘ post.  Topping that list was the library from Beauty and the Beast, and after that moment I knew we’d get along.

I loved reading Mandy’s list on what makes blogs an inviting space for her to read. And I completely agree with her about the importance of making things easily accessible! And read here for her response to people who ask if she’s going to keep trying to have children “to have a girl”.
