Management Resources has partnered with one of its New Hampshire clients in search of a Senior Accountant with recent Oracle Financial's on a contract basis. The Senior Accountant reports to the companys Controller and is responsible for all monthly and annual account closings, financial statement analysis, preparation of weekly and monthly cash flow requirements, and corporate consolidations. Must Have Demonstrated Experience with: Preparation of general ledger entries and reconciliations for month-end and year-end closings; Preparation of weekly and monthly cash-flow (requirements) reports to management; Perform month-end and year-end closing processes; Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports; Management of the fixed asset process, including preparation of depreciation calculations; Work with the companys corporate accounting team to resolve issues; Other ad-hoc responsibilities as needed Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting; 7 + years of accounting experience; Solid understanding of all accounting functions and related internal controls, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, banking, and inventory; Good working knowledge of U.S. G.A.A.P. and willingness to research and resolve accounting problems; Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work cross-functionally to understand requirements, to present alternatives, and make recommendations to management; Flexible and able to perform effectively under high-pressure situations while maintaining focus; Proficient with the use of Oracle ERP applications.
