Robert Half Technology has an immediate opening for a Network Help Desk Specialist to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. The Network Help Desk Specialist will enhance their skill set by working among a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues. This role for Network Help Desk Specialist is to provide application maintenance and support to minimize service disruption and facilitate operations. Provides the analysis, support, and maintenance of our client's critical software applications. Responsible for investigating problems with software applications, diagnoses root causes, and works to resolve them. Uses expertise in customer service and technical knowledge to resolve issues surrounding installation, applications/systems, functionality, and training on software and/or hardware products as it relates to customer's environment. Qualifications (Preferred): Experience working on a customer site with applications that have time critical maintenance requirements Experience maintaining O&M; (Operations & Maintenance) documentation and/or updating O&M; knowledge repositories Experience identifying trends in repeat and critical errors Ability to present complicated technical issues with clear easy-to-follow solutions and path forward Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills Experience developing working relationships w/functional groups and customers to meet established service level goals
