Robert Half is partnering with a local non-profit organization to staff a DIRECT HIRE position for a Sales and Logistics Manager. The Sales and Logistics Manager will be responsible for the following: 1. Manage product sale campaign inventory and logistics. a. Coordinate delivery agent schedules and deliveries including cupboard and warehouse inventory management. Work with delivery agents, cupboard staff and volunteers to maintain accurate inventory records and arrange for transfer of product as necessary. b. Monitor product sales software systems to identify and remedy inventory problems, ordering issues and other reporting and logistical issues. c. Forecast and manage variety mix across the state while managing to zero avoiding excess inventory. d. Analyze workflow, compile numerical or statistical data, and apply cost benefit analysis techniques. e. Continually review and improve theft prevention processes and procedures. f. Work with vendors, delivery agents, staff and volunteers to ensure product integrity throughout the campaigns. g. Screen and train paid seasonal staff including managers, staff and drivers. 2. Assist regional team members in recruiting, screening and appointing product sale volunteers at the troop and service unit level. 3. Assist with development of training curriculum for product sales volunteers and staff, evaluate and modify curriculum as needed including but not limited to product sale procedures, safety and risk management, crisis communication procedures, theft prevention and media/public relations procedures. 4. Provides back up and secondary management of product sales issues and conflict resolution 5. In coordination with regional program teams may provide staffing and direction to regional volunteer teams. Serves as the primary staff support and resource for product sales issues and management that cannot be managed by a regional team. 6. Develops community relationships required to carry out product sales including but not limited to identifying media/PR opportunities, booth sale opportunities including managing all paperwork requirements, identifying and acquiring warehouse and cupboard locations. 7. Assist with the development of training materials and train key volunteers in effective inventory and cookie cupboard management. Train staff in managing volunteer inventory and booth sale issues. Direct and manage plans for handling excess inventory. 8. Manage and coordinate revisions of technical and training materials and designs. 9. Assist in choosing products, rewards, adult recognitions and other program components to ensure a successful annual sales campaign 10. Exercise discretion, confidentiality and judgment at all times when dealing with volunteers and staff. 11. Collaborate with statewide leadership team to develop unified direction and guidance in the formulation, integration and implementation of long and short term goals, objectives, and action plans. 12. Work with statewide finance functions to contribute to the annual budget development process; provide ongoing functional support in areas of budget and budget oversight as it pertains to the assigned regional service area throughout the year. 13. Work successfully in a team environment. 14. Respect the confidential nature of all information pertaining to staff, volunteers, and girls. 15. Other duties as assigned to successfully meet the goals and objectives of the Product Sales Department and Council.
