Robert Half Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator/Engineer. This job is located in the Tampa Area and is a 6 Month contract to Full Time opportunity. This position will work with other team members to provide User, Group, Security and general Systems administration. Core responsibility will be focused around implementing Exchange, VMware, and Symantec.

*Requirements:* -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a similar technical discipline -Microsoft Server, VMware, NetApp certifications strongly considered -Proven ability to design, implement, monitor and manage Windows servers in a variety of roles -Extensive Active Directory design and administration experience -Hands-on experience building and maintaining VMware, vSphere & vCenter environments -Hands-on experience building and maintaining Windows 2012R2 HyperV environments -Storage provisioning, management, and backup; ability to assess storage needs and provide solutions; direct experience with NetApp FAS filers and Cisco MDS storage switches is strongly preferred -Experience with common server monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, OpManager, SCOM) and strong scripting skills for custom tools and reports (VBScript, PowerShell, Perl, Bash, etc.) -Experience with VDI environments a plus -Direct experience with Dell hardware is preferred -Hands-on experience with SQL Server and/or SharePoint is a plus -LAN/WAN networking experience, including VoIP experience is a plus -Strong analytical skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills -Must be self-motivated and take ownership of assigned tasks -Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
