**Job Summary**

Robert Half is seeking a **Director, Corporate HR Services** who partners with colleagues to provide consultation, services and support to maximize organization effectiveness, performance and a "great place to work" environment. Provides expert insight into organization and people issues, and translates business strategies and issues into appropriate talent and organizational effectiveness plans and actions. Provides consultation and recommendations to business leaders based on thoughtful consideration and analysis of business needs and workforce data while delivering impactful and practical business solutions. Supports the planning, development, socialization and implementation of routine and ad-hoc talent projects and initiatives for assigned business groups. Partners with business leaders and team to provide consultation and recommendations related to organization, team and leadership effectiveness.

**Specific responsibilities include:**

* Provide expert insight into organization and people issues, and translate business strategies and needs into appropriate talent and organizational effectiveness plans and actions. Provide consultation and recommendations to business leaders (typically SVP/CAO levels for Corporate Services NA and across business units/functions) based on thoughtful consideration and analysis of business needs and workforce data while delivering impactful and practical business solutions.
* Strategy and Planning: Partner with SVPs to identify cross-functional strategic talent needs, create plans and implement strategies. Align talent plans with the overall strategy, and provide input to future plans.
* Organizational Culture and Design: Lead the cross-functional identification, development and implementation of organizational culture, design and restructuring initiatives. Include project management, facilitation of planning and working sessions and follow-up on results.
* Change Management Strategy and Activities: Drive change, observe and analyze the implementation of comprehensive talent practices, identify challenges, and recommend changes.
* Workforce and Succession Planning: Drive the cross-functional development and implementation of workforce planning, succession and high-potential management programs . Include project management, facilitation of planning and talent review sessions and follow-up on results.
* Oversee and lead Corporate Services North America HR Business Partner function and team, organizational development function and varied comprehensive talent services.
* Directly manage HR Business Partners in the delivery of assigned responsibilities. Lead others through the escalation of complex and/or sensitive issues and work with internal partners and leaders to remove obstacles and drive resolution.
* Full-cycle people management responsibilities, including but not limited to, hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, engagement / retention, recognition, development and termination of staff.
* Manage team budget and expenses. Approve expenditures based on company guidelines.
* Partner with colleagues (typically SVP/CAO levels for Corporate Services NA and across business units/functions) to provide consolation, services and support to maximize organization effectiveness, performance and a "great place to work" environment. Includes, but is not limited to:
* Hiring: Conduct interviews, review employment offers. For smaller locations may lead the recruiting function including identification of staffing requirements and full-cycle recruiting (sourcing, advertising, selection, etc.).
* Partner with internal partners (ex. Talent Management Programs, Compensation, Staff Development etc.) across Corporate Services to ensure that projects and programs meet business objectives for the Corporate Services organization. Provide consultation and advice regarding the execution of these programs and processes within Corporate Services.
* Partner with business leaders and team (typically SVP/CAO levels for Corporate Services NA and across business units/functions) to provide consultation and recommendations related to organization, team and leadership effectiveness. Includes, but is not limited to:
* Workshop/Activity Design and Delivery: Design, develop and facilitate talent and team effectiveness workshops based on business feedback and needs analysis. Also facilitate talent related instructor-led courses.
* Assessment and Intervention: Promote and administer assessment tools (DiSC, MBTI, CSI, etc.) and other resources to assist individuals and teams in continuous professional development. Make recommendations on development activities and options.
* Leadership Coaching and Development Planning: Provide coaching and feedback to business leaders on their own development needs and resources, team development, and other leadership development topics. Advise on the creation leadership development plans.
* Employee Feedback and Action Planning: Identify, plan, develop and/or implement initiatives related to employee feedback and engagement. Includes facilitation of feedback gathering, action planning sessions and follow-up on results.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, Communication, Employment Law or related field required, or must have an additional 5+ years’ of experience in lieu of degree (in addition to experience requirements below).
* Master's degree in one of the above fields is strongly preferred.
* SPHR or equivalent certification required.
* 13+ years’ in an HR Business Partner type of role is required. Must have experience supporting organizations and the full-range of talent related consultation, activities and services.
* 5+ years’ management experience is required related to overseeing a team of HR professionals in the delivery of consultation and services for a Corporate organization and/or Regional Area (i.e. North America).
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) is required.
* Basic to intermediate proficiency with HRMS applications (Ex. Workday, ADP, PeopleSoft, etc.) is preferred.
* Basic to intermediate proficiency with online collaboration and research applications (Ex. SharePoint, Internet Explorer, etc.) is preferred.
* Must have significant knowledge and experience with federal and state employment law and regulations. Stays up to date on employment laws, trends and practices.
* Strong analytical skills, a problem solver, able to think strategically while possessing the knowledge and intelligence to quickly solve issues.
* Must be well organized, be able to manage multiple priorities, and work effectively with a group.
* Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are required. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with others in a variety of ways: e.g., one-on-one, group meetings and presentations, telephone/teleconference, e-mail.
* Creative, innovative and conceptually able to build and champion programs as well as plan around broadly stated business goals and business needs.
* Ability to establish professional credibility with all levels of employees and leaders.
* Perform as team and on projects requiring collaboration.
