We are looking for a Principal Web Engineer for a direct hire position, who has a passion for building great software for business applications. Someone who is results-focused and will do whatever is necessary to complete projects in a timely manner and maintain a high level of accountability with peers. This person will focus on projects and applications within the Servicing, Financial Operations, and Accounting Systems of our platform. What you'll do: Be the primary engineer for a project to build a web portal for borrowers and participate in the creation of and adherence to:
* the project schedule
* the functional requirements
* the interface scheme
* the quality assurance plan
* the security requirements
* the work assignments for other project developers
* Provide assistance and the benefit of knowledge and experience to technology teams not involved in the web portal project Requirements:
* Has a minimum of 15 years building business software
* Is willing to 'get their hands dirty,' and who tries to figure out how to get things done, not focus on why something won't work
* Would like to use experience and expertise to accomplish something really great
* Is someone in a meeting who people turn to for leadership and knowledge
* Has a willingness and aptitude for learning new concepts and businesses
* Has built at least one serious business web application
* Two or more large business applications built in any environment
* Has built at least one business application for a vertical market and not internal use
* Has the Required Technical experience:
* Well qualified knowledge and use of, Visual Studio, ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core, MVC 5, JavaScript, CSS, C#, Bootstrap or a similar framework, JQuery or a similar framework
* Might have the Nice to Have Technical Experience:
* Entity Framework 6.0 or Entity Framework Core, SQL Server
* Has knowledge and appreciation of the technologies used in other areas of our operations including VBA
