You will be reporting to the Big Data & Analytics Practice Director.This is a hands-on, customer facing role involved in all stages of the solution delivery cycle, beginning with the conversation of solving the customers business problems through a Big Data platform, showing tangible results through crafting and implementing proofs-of-concept, and transitioning into production implementation. In this role you will also be tasked with knowledge acquisition on current and emerging technologies/products in the Big Data landscape including, but not limited to NoSQL, ETL, CEP, Hadoop, Visualization Tools and S3 compatible storage systems. Responsibilities include: Develop and implement Big Data / Analytics solutions; scope, design, deploy, test, and provide post-installation support Support the sales process including preparation and delivery of presentations based on understanding of the business needs, recommending the appropriate solution and relaying the value to the customer. Work with company Infrastructure and Network Solution Architects to design and implement comprehensive analytic solutions, integrating into the customers infrastructure across the data center. Identify and scope the services necessary to implement solutions including the preparation of pricing estimates, statements of work and RFP responses. Develop and present detailed as-built technical documentation. Perform knowledge transfer of solutions as implemented. Work with the PMO to ensure projects are implemented within Statement of Work scope, on time and within budget. Complete all administrative tasks as required, including timely submission of timesheet and expense reports Travel as required; customer base is primarily located in our four regions: the greater San Francisco Bay Area, Southern California, the Pacific Northwest, and Hawaii (30%)
