Rare opportunity in Des Moines! CFO with a highly entrepreneurial company committed to investing in Iowa! In this exceptional role, you will manage a staff of one and play a very hands on part in the daily/monthly/quarterly accounting. You will ensure that all the daily transactions and balance sheet items are correct, consolidate financial reports and ensure that good metrics are reflected in the monthly management reports which are then shared with the subsidiary companies. You will handle the 10K and 10Q filings, handle the forecasting and be involved in the auditor reviews and annual audit. Additionally you will have involvement in due diligence surrounding merger and acquisition activity. In order to be considered for this role, you must have a BA in Accounting, MBA/CPA preferred, 7+ years related, progressive experience, ability to function both strategically and in a hands on capacity, exceptionally strong communication skills and a desire to help grow a business.
