*Requirements:* Experience, Competencies, and Education:

* 3-5 years' experience

* In state candidates only

* Industry Certifications (Preferred: A+, Net +, Sec +, etc.)

* Hands-on experience with printers, computers, monitors, laptops, peripherals

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft products

* Strong troubleshooting skills

* Strong understanding of TCP/IP network concepts and network troubleshooting

* Strong verbal and written communication skills (spelling, grammar, etc.)

* Must be able to work proactively and under pressure. Some after hour and weekend work will be required.

* Comfortable working in a demanding fast-paced, customer-focused organization with start-up culture with evolving processes. Flexible and able to adapt to new situations as the business demands The IT Technician position supports end users to ensure hardware and software applications are performing optimally, allowing company and personnel to operate at peak efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily:

* Receive, evaluate, prioritize incidents and provide first level support for internal and remote users experiencing hardware, software, networking, and other IT-related issues.

* Query users to collect information about the problem and lead users through basic diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve the issue.

* Accurately record detailed information on all help desk issues and monitor progress of incidents utilizing a helpdesk system.

* Provide assistance in support of all end-user systems including installations, maintenance, email and desktop application configuration, and all other functions pertaining to end-user systems.

* Train and assist users on an as needed basis with software and hardware inquiries.

* Perform day-to-day IT functions including adding users, establish access privileges, configure email accounts, build PCs and laptops, setup Smartphones, install and support printers, and monitor/tune desktop equipment.

* Work in conjunction with the IT staff and management to ensure optimum performance of desktops, laptops, and applications.

* Other duties as assigned
