I have an immediate need for a **Director of Marketing**for an Award-winning #1 Ranked Web-based software provider for the Risk and Insurance Industry. This is a full-time, direct-hire role in **Downtown Chicago!**

If you are a hands-on senior level creative expert to provide input to our marketing approach, translate it to an actionable strategy, and direct tactics, planning, and execution. This individual must be able to work in collaboration with sales executives and team members in a highly self-driven manner within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, then this is the role for you.

As a Director of Marketing, you must be passionate about understanding our customers’ objectives and understanding the specifics of exactly how our products and services are used to contribute to those customer objectives. The ability to articulate the specific value of product & service offerings and the company’s competitive advantages is critical. You will need to dig into the details and make yourself an expert in complex software and services offering to multiple markets.

**Responsibilities:**

* Direct, manage and mentor the marketing team
* Coordinate efforts with Sales Operations and Sales Management
* Identify website strategies; oversee continuous improvement of website
* Deliver constant flow of content and marketing collateral, including website content, blog, client case studies, product videos, earned media, social media posts, sales collateral, brochures, etc.
* Ensure content excellence, including editing copy at a detailed level and holding graphic artists to high standards
* Develop and execute marketing campaigns targeted to promoting new products, customer successes, business segment specific solutions, and more.
* Maximize generation of qualified leads through digital outreach, marketing automation tools, CRM, and web analytics
* Deliver actionable analytics regarding marketing performance
* Maintain comprehensive marketing business plan and budget
* Conduct ongoing market research and win/loss analysis
* Source & direct vendors for graphic design, PR and other outsourced needs

**Must Haves:**

* Strong business acumen in enterprise software/SaaS informed by reporting and analytics
* Marketing Management experience with strong Content Creation experience
* Proficient in basic HTML, and CSS, marketing automation tools, along with CRM automation & online marketing campaigns
