Robert Half Legal is immediately seeking Junior Paralegals who can travel to or who live around the Downers Grove area for a SIX MONTH temp-to-perm assignment. This is a junior hybrid role with an emphasis in contracts administration, IP, Corporate Affairs and Litigation Support. The ideal candidate would feel comfortable learning and working with all of the following: Intellectual Property Prepare monthly trademark status reports Assist with U.S. copyright applications and record keeping Assist in due diligence process as needed Review 3rd party trademarks for proper use on labels and maintain usage guidelines Review label/packaging copy, brand websites and promotions for correct and proper trademark usage Provide support in gathering substantiation for global IP related disputes Contracts Assist with researching and maintaining records within contract management system to support the management of existing agreements, including physical and electronic documents, from implementation through termination Confirm receipt of fully executed documents Facilitate various international document certifications, including Apostille seals and legalization Corporate Affairs & Litigation Support Assisting with the preparation, maintenance and docketing of annual and other periodic corporate reports and filings for statutory and other regulatory authorities Assist other departments with filing of compliance related permits business licenses, property permits, registrations and other business certifications and maintaining a database of the same. Facilitate and support administration of certificates of insurance and related documents.
