As part of a collaborative and passionate team, the Software Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing new platforms and continually improve our distributed database and APIs.
The ideal Software Engineer has a passion for problem solving, has built reliable distributed databases, developed custom APIs, developed data reporting tools to ensure data integrity, knowledge of secure coding best practices, experience developing applications with NoSQL, MongoDB and/or PostGIS, proficient with AWS, and hands-on coding capabilities with Java, Python, Javascript, Node.js, Hadoop, Docker, web services, JSON, XML, and interactive map development.
