* Job Summary*

As *HR Specialist- Solution Center*, your specific responsibilities include:

Records Management/ Policy Management

* Respond professionally and diplomatically with high energy and accuracy with a positive attitude, and in a timely manner, to new hire, current and former employee inquiries for information and changes to employee pay policies, benefits, stock, 401K and Deferred Compensation and general HR matters. Answers all calls coming in from all 800 HR Lines through the CICS call system as well as incoming emails from all HR Compliance email boxes.

* Must be a resourceful and creative problem solver. While things may go wrong, you should be looking forward to anticipate areas of concern or risk. When unanticipated issues come up at exactly the wrong time, as they tend to do, you should be world class at quickly and constructively working with members of the team and other departments to find solutions.

* The ability to jump in and help out. This is a “roll up your sleeves” position and you will need to understand our internal processes so you can help others effective do their jobs or resolve matters for former employees.

* Perform a variety of daily human resources operation tasks and work with other departments to resolve matters.

* Take accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure.

* Follow established guidelines in an environment with competing priorities. Perform a wide variety of HR services and/or processes related to the operations of the HR Solutions Center. Apply knowledge of human resources to all incoming questions related to benefits, compensation plans, and general HR matters Review of various factors and exercise sound judgment in developing solutions and recommendations. Utilize professional concepts to solve problems of moderate scope. Use discretion and sound judgment to communicate and escalate potential issues to the HR Service Center Supervisor.

* Represent Robert Half and the HR Department by exhibiting a calm, welcoming, and friendly presence for all new hires, employees, leaders, and visitors.

* Develop working rapport with the HR community while demonstrating excellent communications skills to further strengthen the perception of the HR Solutions Center with a variety of stakeholders and constituents.

Records Management/ Policy Management

* VOE/VOI/E-Verify

o Escalated point of contact for VOE/VOI and I-9 issue resolution.

o Provide back-up to complete VOE letters and forms as needed.

* Records Management:

o Update new hire records database daily with new hire report

o Respond to HRBP and Legal requests for file information or assist HRBP's with AccuImage.

o Maintain Accu-Image records, including adding, deleting and merging scanned records as necessary

o Maintain Iron Mountain storage records with 100% accuracy to accommodate requests for the return of stored hardcopy records.

o Respond and prepare any personnel file requests from outside investigators and internal staff.

o Assist Department Manager with recordkeeping audits

Annual Compliance Reminders and Diversity Reporting - Awareness Training and CA/CT Sexual Harassment Training

* Provide backup reporting support to the Compliance Analyst for Awareness Training completion reports.

* Provide backup support for the CA Sexual Harassment training completion reports.

US Labor Law Posters - HR Policy Development - Misc. Duties

* Conduct regular audits to ensure branch compliance with the poster program

* Escalate customer service issues to Manager for resolution

* Complete OPM Record Requests

* Qualifications:*

* Must possess 2-4+ years of HR experience in Leaves of Absence, verifications services, benefits

* Strong communications, both written and oral, and strong customer service orientation

* Can self-start and maintain a positive, upbeat and helpful attitude

* Be a team player who strives for excellence

* Flexibility with scheduling to cover North American time zones.

* Must have attention to detail

* Call center experience preferred.

* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where multi-tasking is a must while continuing to maintain a positive, constructive and professional demeanor.

* Basic MS Office skills with intermediate level experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint and previous experience in HRMS systems

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
