Support 425 users with more than 600 devices (desktop mainly, laptops, iPads, iPhones, Microsoft Surfaces) This person will be the first call, but can escalate it to desktop engineer or other 4 IT employees. Most support is email, 20% calls, 10-15% face to face in the St. Paul office. Users are internal employees, some are remote. Support Windows 7 and 10, Office 365, Outlook. Hours are 8-5 This role will field inquiries from end users, answer questions and resolve technical issues. This role will be the first level support for help desk calls and requests, acting with a sense of urgency to provide excellent customer service and ensure that expected service levels are achieved or exceeded. Qualifications: Required: ?High School or Associates degree or two years equivalent comprehensive Information Technology training ?Strong understanding of Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating system ?Strong understanding of Office 2010-2016 (Office 365) applications ?Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software related issues with personal computer equipment and the Office environment ?Provide on-site and remote technical support for users, including corporate and satellite office as well as job-site locations Preferred: ?Understanding of multi-function printers and ability to trouble shoot drivers and setup ?Proficiency of Microsoft Active Directory ?Proficiency of x86 based PC hardware ?Good written and verbal communication skills and troubleshooting ability ?Strong organizational skills and capacity to multi-task Office and Travel: This role may require travel within the Twin Cities area to help support metro office locations and users Responsibilities and Tasks: ?Daily Tasks ?Oversee the daily performance of computer systems ?Provide day to day hands on technical support to employees ?Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operations to resolve issues ?Troubleshoot issues relating to the PC's, Windows 7 and 10, and Microsoft Office products ?Troubleshoot printer drive and functionality issues of multi-function copier/printers ?Assist with setup of user's desktop environment (phone, computer, monitor) ?Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications If you're interested please contact Kajsa Brindley at (612) 359-4960 OR Kajsa.brindley@rht.com
