**Job Summary**

Robert Half is seeking a **User Acceptance Tester II** who develops and executes test plans and functional use cases to ensure that products meet user needs and business requirements. Develops and maintains a testing strategy that includes design, execution, and documentation of test cases, defects tracking, and test coverage analysis. Identifies, recommends, and implements changes to enhance the overall effectiveness of user acceptance testing strategies.

**Specific responsibilities include:**

+ Writes and maintains detailed test cases/scripts that are aligned with user and business needs. Reviews business requirements, functional specifications, and user information to understand end user requirements and business process context. Review with appropriate SMEs to validate understanding.

+ Coordinates and participates in all testing activities, including planning, designing, scripting, execution, and reporting. Manages multiple testing processes of moderate complexity simultaneously. Defines scope and approach of UAT effort. Leverage/product standard UAT reporting metrics.

+ Stage data to meet testing requirements, based on thorough knowledge of those requirements as required. Consults with product and business analysts to ensure clear understanding of requirements and business process. Provides direction to others on the UAT team as needed.

+ Research and verify issues as required. Provide appropriate detail to document issue for development team and context regarding impact and priority. Review issues reporting progress and process to ensure timely reporting visibility.

+ Participates productively in meetings with multiple participants (sometimes high profile). Draws on prior experience to ask the right questions. Provides real time status updates.

+ Develops and maintains testing processes while also thinking creatively to leverage ideas for process improvement.

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent experience

+ 2+ years of UAT testing experience

+ Agile experience strongly preferred; Web, defect management system, thorough knowledge of Excel; competence in Microsoft Office suite

+ Ability to interact and communicate with customers of varying levels of expertise

+ Ability to communicate complex technical information to less technical users

+ Ability to communicate in-depth business processes to technical resources

+ Ability to create very complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts that demonstrate business or system process flow

+ Ability to gather requirements effectively; document requirements and confirm observations with business owners.

+ Ability to perform fit/gap analysis based on requirements.

+ Ability to create detailed and complex test plans for medium-sized initiatives

+ Ability to prioritize job responsibilities

+ Demonstrated Customer Service abilities

+ Demonstrated problem solving skills

+ Knowledge of business systems software

+ Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle

+ Ability to develop and manage multiple enterprise-wide project plans, meeting established deliverables and timelines

+ Ability to execute based on directions from senior team member

+ Ability to provide guidance, mentoring, and day-to-day support to lower level personnel

+ Ability to conduct training

+ Ability to create thorough and complex documentation

+ Ability to facilitate, conduct meetings, gather information, and present status

+ Ability to design business solutions for new processes and new business practices.

+ Adaptability and demonstrated good judgment
