Robert Half is working with an established bio-tech firm located in the Greater Boton area in search of an experience Tax Manager to manage the corporate income taxes for their USA operations, ensuring that federal and state filings are completed on time. The US Tax Manager will also manage the state and local sales taxes, GST taxes and duties. Our client takes pride in their team culture as a key differentiator. * Opportunities for growth and development. As the U.S. Tax Manager, Key responsibilities will include:

* Managing the US corporate income tax compliance process to ensure the group complies with all tax filing and payment requirements, and submissions to the IRS on both a federal and state level

* Ensuring timely and accurate filing of all US and Canadian GST and Sales and Use tax returns

* Responsibility for the tax provision for the US consolidated tax group at full year and half year under IFRS for inclusion in the group consolidated accounts

* Establishing appropriate systems or processes to highlight and manage tax risks, providing input into the set-up of the new ERP system

* Managing the US Monthly tax accrual booking process for management accounting purposes

* 5+ years' tax experience in public accounting firm or large corporation

* 5+ years' experience handling US corporate tax and GST

* CPA qualified (or other relevant accounting or tax qualification)

* Experience of IRS audits

* Knowledge of International taxation laws and regulations is advantageous.

* Previous experience of accounting under IFRS

* ERP implementation experience or previous use of Oracle

* Strong technical knowledge in US corporate tax compliance and GST.

* Strong analytical and proven problem-solving skills
