One of our clients is looking to fill the following DIRECT HIRE/PERMANENT position within their company based here in Columbus. This role will report directly to the CIO of the company, so it's a highly visible position - with room for growth. The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is responsible for developing and managing the relationship between IT and business operations. This includes assisting in the prioritization of projects, ensuring projects align with technology that delivers the maximum return on investment (ROI), and directing IT strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy. Primary Responsibilities:: Develops and executes technology strategies/projects that provide a competitive edge for the business unit and delivers the maximum ROI. Assists business unit leaders in prioritizing projects and prepares the cost-benefit analysis for those projects. Manage and provide direction for the business application team in support of business operations. The team (3 SAP professionals) is responsible to maintain, support, and upgrade existing systems and applications. Manage all IT projects for the assigned business unit. Project management cycle. Contributes to the IT annual budgeting and planning process for the assigned business units. Controls and tracks IT expenditures against the budget. Executes Service Level Agreements (SLA) in support of delivering high performance and quality service to the applicable business units. Ensures the business units understand the technology solution, overall solution delivery, and compliance to governance processes, architecture standards, etc. Collaborates with the other BRMs to identify, establish and standardize, where applicable, technology applications across the network. Develops and educates the business unit on IT innovations and awareness programs.
