Basic Function: Designs, modifies, writes, tests, and implements software programming applications. Candidate will help with developing, maintaining and supporting an in-house portfolio management system. Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customer requirements. Manage publishing, installation, support of software applications developed and install/support related software applications. Coding experience writing cashflow projection models for fixed income securities and analytic calculations like price, bond equivalent yields, duration etc. from those cashflows using Visual C++; valuation of complex marketable securities and what-if scenario analysis. Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills are required, including the ability to perform, coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple activities. Necessary specialty skills include: Software development on Microsoft Windows platform using Microsoft Visual Studio development suite 2012 (or VS 2012, 2013, 2015) utilizing the .NET Framework. Languages include: C++, C#, Visual Basic. Well versed in complete software development lifecycle. Experienced using Team Foundation Server (TFS). Strong database design and E-R modeling skills. Very proficient in SQL Server 2012 development and associated tools. Strong SQL skills writing and optimizing queries, functions and stored procedures.
