Marketing Director Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to: Marketing Planning

* Create annual marketing plan, supporting the company's overall growth and strategic objectives. Marketing plan includes: o Product category sales plan for the company and by distribution channel o New product sales plan o Arrowhead initiatives o Continually monitor following segments for new products: ? Competitors: visit and walk tradeshows, establish competitor "library" containing current catalogues and pricelists. ? Internal product management system: analyze monthly overall product category performance, propose products which can fill gaps in the current product offering. ? Strategic planning process: participate actively in the company's strategic process Product Management

* Analyze product sales and gross margin performance monthly. o Identify, propose and implement corrective actions if product performances are not at satisfactory levels.

* Streamline product lines annually, create line reviews and propose items to be dropped. Sales Support

* Visit customers on regular basis (min 3 days per month) to present new concepts and products as well as gather market and competitor information

* Coordinate and lead initiatives with Inside and Outside Sales Team to help achieve mutual targets.

* Develop and implement quarterly Arrowhead marketing initiatives in coordination with Sales and Customer Service Communication/Brand Management

* External communication: o Increase brand equity, sales campaigns and support sales of current and new products using the following communication tools: ? Public Relations: measure ROI of PR objectives and expenditures annually. ? Advertising: achieve savings of media buying activities as well as other advertising objectives. ? Internet: Management of communication and campaigns using the Internet including web sites, Web based portals, social networks and viral marketing ensuring measurability of results. ? Trade shows: plan and manage national trade shows; achieve annual growth of lead counts. ? Product Catalogues/Brochures/Sales sheets: manage the creation and production; achieve cost savings annually. The communication should be directed to varying market segments, including end-users and distributors. ? Education Programs: resource and support sponsored educational programs, i.e. end user seminar Market Research

* Conduct or direct quantitative and qualitative market research: new products, new segments and new markets both internally and with external agencies. Management of the Marketing department

* Annual personnel plan for the marketing department detailing activities and needs for staffing.

* Selecting, recruiting and managing marketing assistants/coordinators.

* Maintain and expand resources needed for marketing department: Ad/PR agencies, printers, designers, trade show agencies, market research agencies, etc. Other Responsibilities

* Visit vendors in coordination with other company functions for new product development.

* Monitor industry trends and competitor activities. Knowledge and Skill Required

* Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Marketing or related area

* Five (5) plus years of strongly related experience in B to B marketing (preferably in the food service industry).

* Previous marketing management experience within the Jan/San or professional cleaning industry is a PLUS
