** Robert Half Technology is currently seeking a PHP Developer** in Atlanta, GA to increase the level of innovation in our client's software product and decrease the time to market for new features and products. Excellent Salary + Benefits!
**Responsibilities**
* Understand the fast-moving business requirements of our industry
* Work closely with a small team of developers to ensure consistency and facilitate group knowledge share
* Write and maintain complex source code
* Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software
* Support and troubleshoot related issues and suggest sustainable corrective actions
* Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies
* Factor emerging technologies and product supportability into design and implementation
**Requirements**
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
* 4+ years of web application development experience
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong knowledge of PHP (or similar web MVC frameworks), JQuery and JavaScript
* Strong object-oriented software development skills
* Dedicated work ethic to deliver results rapidly
* Solid communication skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team, working together to solve problems in the most effective way
* Passion for learning new skills and technologies and sharing that knowledge with peers/co-workers
**Preferred Skills**
* Knowledge of SQL databases and syntax
* HTML/CSS experience
* Working knowledge of common design patterns
* Experience with Linux & Linux servers
* Strong graphical aesthetic design skills
* Thought-leadership as demonstrated through participation in online forums or blogs, professional groups, open source projects, or other equivalent outlets
* Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies and Scrum
* Experience with Bootstrap and React a plus
