If Sasha Fierce can win 6 Grammys Lemonade deserves more than 2!
SF was safe pop music. Lemonade was boundary pushing, political, raw, emotional most importantly pro-Black all adding up to what white people deemed “controversial” & even “racist” so while I’m FURIOUS I’m not surprised that this white led academy refused to award her for it. Plus most of her noms where for Formation aka the anti-christ in the eyes of white media.
