Bachelor of Technology(B-Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering Completed in 2005 from Godavari Institute of Engineering And Technology,JNTU  University with 70%.

Technical Skills:

Operating systems   :    Windows-98/NT and XP,LINUX,VxWorks(RTOS)

.

Projects done in Rocsys:

Project 1:

Title      :Firewall Implementation Using Netfilters &

Network Address Transalation(NAT)

Project includes four modules.

Development of User space module

Pseudo Driver module.

Kernel Space module.

NAT  Table Implementation.

User Space module: User configures the security policies from the application program. The security policies to be             defined are classified as inbound policies and outbound policies. The policies are defined using a globally defined policy database structure. The inbound and outbound policies are defined in separate structures.

Pseudo driver module: The pseudo driver acts as a means of communication between the user space and the kernel space and stores the defined policies permanently in the kernel. The driver communicates with the user through IOCTL system calls.

Kernel Space module:This module performs packet filtering on the packets which they are sent by the netfilter, depending on the rules (source address, destination address, interface, port)which they have in their database.

NAT Table Implementation:Is used to transmit & receive packets from internal LAN to a public network. The Source NAT(SNAT)is implemented in postrouting hook & Destination NAT(DNAT) is implemented in prerouting hook.

Software Platform:  LINUX

Project 2:

Title       :  Trival File Transfer Protocol(TFTP)

It has three major phases

·
Connection Establishment.

·
Data transfer.

·
Connection Termination.

Connection Establishment:Client establish a connection by sending read/write request to the server. The server responds back to the client & the connection is effectively opened.

Data transfer:This is for data transfer between client & server after Connection Establishment. One device sends data & other sends acknowledgments.

Connection Termination:When the last TFTP message containing data(less than 512 bytes)has been sent & acknowledged the connection is terminated.

Software Platform:  LINUX

Project 3:

Title  :   Implementation of Point to Point Protocol (PPP) in VxWorks

Project includes mainly three modules

PPP Link Establishment: The link is the basic operating element of PPP; a proper connection ensures the smooth functioning of PPP, as well as VxWorks.Link is established between two peers via Null Modem Cabel(RS-232).

PPP Configuration:To include the default PPP configuration, configure VxWorks with PPP support.PPP options may be set at run-time by filling in a PPP options structure and passing the structure location to the pppInit( ) routine. A PPP link is initialized by calls to either usrPPPInit( ) or pppInit( ).

PPP Authentication:Password Authentication Protocol (PAP): provides a simple method by which the peer establishes its identity using a two-way handshake.

Challenge-Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP): More robust authentication protocol offering better security than PAP.

Software Platform:  VxWorks(RTOS),Windows-98

Project Undertaken During Engineering:

Title                                                    :  Sequential Process Monitor Using RCM2000

Client                                                  :  ECIL,
Hyderabad

Hardware  used                                    : Micro Controller (Rabbit)

Software Used                                     : Dynamic-C

OS                                                        : Windows-98

Team Size                                            : 2

Duration                                               :
20/1/2005
- 22/2/2005

Role                                                     : Team Member

Project Description :

The project Implementation contains of two major modules.

1.Setting the runtime for each process. In this block we enter the time for each process and delay between the processes.

2.Monitoring the operation of the processes:If any fault occurs at any stage  of the process, there would be an audio/visual indication describing at what stage of the process the fault has occurred.

The RCM2000 Micro controller is the heart of the system, processing into data and taking the action accordingly. The RCM 2000 is programmed using a powerful high level language called Dynamic C, which is an extension of C.
