Objectives : Main objectives of this project are as follows:

To control the appliances connected through computer via custom relay hardware.
2.
Using maximum number of appliances.
3.
Cheaper in cost.
Description :
Main objective of our project is to control the appliances connected through computer via custom relay hardware. We had used number of IC’s which controls appliances. Parallel port is 25 pin female D-connector which divided into three ports.

We have used data port which is of 8 bit. Parallel port address which is of 8 bit, goes to IC74LS154 (i.e. D0-D3 and D4-D7) then output of IC 74LS154 goes to 74LS74 which is enable all the pins of 74LS05. IC 74LS05 work as inverter. Firstly, it store data and then it will transfer data to ULN-2803 according to address appliances will be ON or OFF. Source code is written to control the appliances and connected through computer via relay hardware. This project works only for 256 appliances but we will connect more than 256 appliances by increasing the number of decoder. Source code control the whole operation of appliances. But using MS-DOS, program will not user friendly. So in the future expansion, we will use Windows operating system the program will become user friendly.
Role : 1. Developed logic for controlling the device.
2. Developed code for interfacing between computer and hardware.
3. Debugging.

Future Enhancement : The future enhancement of this project is as follows
1.
Speech Recognition Method :
In this method, we have used speech of any user. He
Will speak ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’ command and appliances will get automatically ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’.
2.
Industries and Home Appliances:
This project can also be enhanced to work on the
different fields like industries, multiplexes and home. By
using this project we will control all the appliances which
are present in the industries and home by single PC.
MINI PROJECT
Title : Stepper motor control by using Joysticks.

Hardware Requirements : ICULN 2803, Stepper motor, Joystick.

Objectives : 1. To control the speed of Stepper Motor by using joystick.
2.
Cheaper in cost.
Description : The main objective of this project is control the
Speed of Stepper Motor by using joystick. Joystick is
connected to computer. Stepper motor is connecting to
parallel port. According to variation of joystick the speed
of Stepper motor will control.
Role : Developed the code for controlling stepper motor and
interfacing between computer and hardware.
Value Addition : Team work skill.
Future Enhancement : Can be used in various fields like army, navy and also in
radar technology.
SEMINAR : Quantum Teleportation
I had delivered seminar on quantum teleportation is
new era of science that deals with teleportation of object
image from one place to another.
