About Kerrygold

In Ireland, cows roam free in fresh air and graze in lush pastures of tender grass. From this benign environment and extraordinary diet comes luscious milk so rich in beta-carotene it turns butter and cheeses a natural gold. The distinctive color and exceptionally creamy flavor distinguishes Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter and cheeses from other premium brands. All Kerrygold dairy products are made with milk of grass-fed cows raised on small family farms.  No growth hormones are used.

About Neven Maguire

Neven Maguire is Ireland’s hottest TV chef and host of a Public Television show in America, “Home Chef,” which debuts in January 2014.

From the rural village of Blacklion in County Cavan, Neven is famous for having turned a local restaurant into a national phenomenon. MacNean House and Restaurant has become one of the most talked about and frequented restaurants in Ireland. So popular is the establishment that table reservations are booked six months in advance.

Cooking was an early childhood interest of this Irish chef, who turned his passion into a career by studying catering at Fermanagh College, Enniskillen. He trained in high-profile Michelin-starred restaurants including Roscoff in Belfast, The Grand Hotel in Berlin, Lea Linster in Luxembourg (where he cooked for Lady Diana and Tony Blair) and Arzac in San Sebastian, Spain.

Neven has become a household name in Ireland, appearing in his own TV cooking shows and producing 11 cookbooks.  His nationwide cookery demonstrations are now attended by as many as 500 loyal followers. Neven’s current RTE series is ‘Home Chef.’ He is widely featured on Irish TV and another series, ‘Neven Cooks,’ has extended his audience to South Africa, Australia and through the BBC’s Food Network.

About “Home Chef”

“Home Chef” is a television series for confident cooks who want to take their cooking to the next level, bucking the trend of other cooking shows that emphasize ‘easy meals’ and ‘simple dinners.’  In the series, Neven explains complex dishes and techniques in his inimitable and accessible style, also showing viewers how to re-create many of the dishes from his famous, award-winning MacNean House and Restaurant.

Each week, Neven visits a restaurant to receive a master class from the head chef. No fewer than seven Michelin-starred restaurants are featured in the series, including Restaurant Gordon Ramsey in London (3 stars); Lea Linster Restaurant in Luxembourg (1 star); and Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud in Dublin, Ireland’s only 2 star restaurant.

The series debuted in early 2013 in Ireland and is filmed on location in restaurants around the country, as well as in London and Luxembourg.
