Picking up where Chapter 3 left off, Bindi is taken to a nurse's room, still unconscious. While Ricky watches over her, he recalls the tragedy that has happened to Alisa causing him to clench his fist in anger. Meanwhile in Gracia's office, she and Doug are locked in an argument. The two has conflicting opinion of solving the matter: Doug wants to contact the BSAA as he cannot solve the problem by himself while Gracia wants only Doug to work on the problem without disclosing the news. He tries to approach her however, a student came to her defense and tries to push him off balance. While he succeeds in fending him off, another student kicks him in the forehead, knocking him back. He then proceeds to finish him off but Gracia prevents him from doing so, stating that she still needs Doug. He then returns to his room and tells Ricky to pack up his things so they can leave and try to contact BSAA. Unknowingly, a zombie sneaks up behind Gracia while she is in her office. The students managed to hold the zombie down and stabbed it with multiple candle holders. However, the zombie managed to break free but before it could do anything, Gracia shot the zombie in the head, finally killing it.

Bindi has been taken to the infirmary. Ricky watches over the unconscious girl, remembering what happened to her friend Alyssa. He clenches his fist.

In Gracia's office, she and Doug are locked in an argument. Doug wants to contact the BSAA to help him solve the mystery. Gracia, on the other hand, wants ''only'' Doug to investigate; she can't afford to lose the school's reputation or scare the students. As he approaches Gracia, he is forced to the ground by her aides. Gracia orders the aides to stop, as she still needs him. Gracia expresses concern with Ricky's freedom of travel; since he was bitten by Alyssa, he may transform into a zombie.

Doug returns to his room and tells Ricky to pack up his bags, determined to get the BSAA involved. Since the school is completely isolated, they can't telephone the organization, and so must leave the compound. Ricky promises to himself that he will return, for Bindi's sake.

Mother Gracia watches outside her office window as the two men leave the compound. Unknowingly, a zombie sneaks up behind her. Her student-guards hold he zombie back before it can bite her, and stab it repeatedly. While the Mother has not been bit, her face is now covered in blood. The zombie, despite being impaled on a candle holder, breaks itself free and goes after Gracia; she shoots it in the head with a handgun she was hiding on her person.
