NSF is expected to issue a solicitation for the Partnerships for International Research and Education (PIRE) program this Spring. Stay tuned for details regarding the campus information session and internal Limited Submission process. Contact limsubmissions@ucdavis.edu if you are interested in exploring a collaborative research exchange regarding carbon neutrality with the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO) as part of a PIRE proposal.

The deadline for proposals to the TomKat UC Carbon Neutrality Project has been extended to May 2, 2016.

Attend an information session on May 3, 2016 in Sacramento or May 6, 2016 in Davis to hear from Hartwell Investigators about their funded projects through the Hartwell Individual Biomedical Research Award program and learn about this year’s internal application and selection process. [Learn more]

(1) NIAD is seeking to establish new contracts for HIV Clinical Research Support Services [NOT-AI-16-044], the External Quality Assurance Oversight Laboratory [NOT-AI-16-045] and the Nonhuman Primate Core Cellular Immunology Laboratory for AIDS Vaccine Research and Development [NOT-AI-16-049]
(2) NIAD, NIDCR NINDS, NINR and NCCIH are interested in supporting investigator-initiated administrative supplements for existing awards to expand ME/CFS research. [NOT-AI-16-046]
(3) The NIAMS Clinical Trials policy is being revised to allow R01s that include a clinical trial if the primary endpoint is mechanistic. [NOT-AR-16-015]
(4) NCI is interested in supporting administrative supplements that propose generation of cell or animal-based models that can be used to advance cancer health disparity research. [NOT-CA-16-033]
