We hope that you and everyone around you had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. It is hard to believe that it is a new year, and that the celebrations of last year are all in the past. Many were sad to see 2016 go, others were eager to have a fresh start at a new year. We hope that you have many fond memories of the year and that you enjoyed all of the fun projects and inspiration that we shared. We always have so much fun finding and sharing DIY home ideas with you, thanks for ringing in the New Year with us by joining us for our December recap!



We always love seeing the Christmas theme and look that Cassity creates in her home for the holidays. She shared her gorgeous Woodland Christmas Tree as well as her gorgeous Christmas Mantel Decorating that I want in my own home. We don’t have a mantel, but after her posts, I am going to figure out how to add one! Just look how stunning and perfecting Christmas.


A trend that we saw on social media throughout the holiday was #lighttheworld. Did anyone else see the good cheer and service going around accompanying that hashtag? Cassity shared the Christmas spirit that is taking place in her home, the Christmas spirit that is created through #lighttheworld; 25 days of ideas for living more like the Savior did. It was small things that made a big difference, and there were even ways for kids to participate. Check it out and consider making it a tradition in your home.

We always look forward to seeing the updates that Cassity adds to her home.
