Qunb is missing a lead developer for the frontend team, someone who speaks fluent css and javascript, and lives in a browser. Helping a random person navigate through data is a subtle alchemy of UI/UX best-pratices, asynchronous algorithms and graphic visualizations.

That’s why we’re looking for someone ambitious and visionary enough to create a genuine experience for our users. Join the product team and work alongside A-class developers and designers, on one of the most complex task ever can ask for: make anyone navigate data easily.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Perfect knowledge of JavaScript (not only jQuery methods).

Extensive HTML/CSS hacking skills.

Experience with web-based visualization libraries like d3 or Raphael.

Experience with complex JS projects (requireJs, backbone, ...)

NICE-TO-HAVE

Experience with NodeJS

Data visualization skills

Any other outstanding talent (eg. Lisp, Klingon)

WHAT IS QUNB ?

Searching for figures on the web is broken. This is wrong. How come video, music, articles, publications and news are so easily searchable and browsable, but quantitative data isn’t?

qunb – quantities & numbers – is the next one-stop-shop for numbers. Our job : to aggregate trillions of quantitative facts fetched from thousands of sources onto our BigData platform, and into easy-to-use charts.

WHY WORK FOR US ?

We have our own co-working space with a dozen of other tech startups, our own weekly beer-celebration with other brilliant startupers, and our dedicated indian restaurant. We do weekly "Insights Lunch", where each member of the team share what he's passionate about (be that cryptography or space exploration). We have couches and candies.
