The World Chess Championship chess set is in line to become the new standard for tournament chess and was used for all matches at the London Candidates 2013 Tournament.

Of course Magnus Carlsen won that tournament and went on to win the World Championship against Viswanathan Anand.

These fabulous chessmen have been designed from the ground up by world famous Pentagram architect and designer Daniel Weil with proportions based on classical Greek architecture. This set is crafted from graded boxwood, balanced and weighted, and features black and white felt bases, supplied in beautifully engineered branded packaging.

Magnus Carlsen won the World Championship with these chessmen.
