I shot this video SUPER QUICK when I went to Mom2.0 this year. The TODAY parenting team shot so many videos I just now got my paws on it! For 2016, Mom2.0 was on the west coast, so while I was constantly battling the time shift, I was very happy to try to find some words for the video (and I look super tired, but my hair is on point, thanks to the Dove Beauty Is hair styling booth!).
TODAY asked me how I spent my free time… and with Scarlett being 10 months old at the time, I was balancing her needs, Red’s needs, the home and my various jobs… my “free time” is usually spent working or cleaning up! The small breaks I do give myself are when Chase is hanging with the kids and I’m having a drink with a friend… or gearing up for a conference like this (which is still WORKING!)! When I was single, or before I had kids, I loved to cross stitch, read actual books, and paint my nails. I know one day I’ll have a return of free time like this, but for now, I gotta keep moving. Or is it like Dory says, “Just Keep Swimming?”
