Singapore, 16 April 2014 – Fujifilm will be enhancing its X-Series lineup with the introduction of a new tele-conversion lens for its X100 and X100S cameras. Additionally, its premium mirrorless X-T1 camera will also be enhanced with a series of new accessories including new handgrips, grip strap, an extended eyecup, and a coverkit for its sync terminal, hot shoe and vertical battery grip terminal.

TCL-X100’s Superb Optical Quality and Maximum Versatility

The TCL-X100 is Fujifilm’s second conversion lens for the X100 and X100S cameras and is a follow up from the earlier WCL-X100 wide-conversion lens. The TCL-X100 attaches directly onto the camera, increasing photo taking versatility by multiplying the fixed focal length by approximately 1.4x, converting it from 23mm (35mm in 35mm equivalent) to a 33mm fixed focal length (50mm in 35mm equivalent). Created by the experts who designed the lenses for X100 and X100S, the TCL-X100 delivers high image quality even at the F2.0 wide aperture setting, retaining the original optical characteristics.

This optical excellence is underlined by the fact that the lens is made in Japan, ensuring guaranteed precision and quality in every component. Using four premium glass elements to keep aberrations to a minimum, outstanding lenses are achieved when Fujinon’s unique super EBC coating is also employed.
