RNC Chairman Reince Priebus expressed confidence on Sunday that his party would perform well in House, Senate, and gubernatorial races across the country, highlighting early voting data as evidence of a Republican advantage in Senate battlegrounds on ABC’s “This Week.”
“Our ground game is whipping [the Democratic Party’s] ground game. If you look at Colorado, we’re up by 105,000 votes right now. Cory Gardner is tied with women with Mark Udall. We’re winning Hispanic voters in Colorado. We’re whipping them in Arkansas. We are at a dead even early vote right now in Iowa. We were down by 21,000 votes in Iowa in the early vote in 2010. Joni Ernst is up by 7, according to ‘The Des Moines Register’ yesterday.”
“We’re winning,” Priebus continued, “in Montana, West Virginia, South Dakota. I haven’t even talked about Alaska, Louisiana. And then we’re going to see what’s going to happen in North Carolina and New Hampshire.”
Republicans need a net gain of six seats to take control of the Senate, and ten seats currently held by Democrats are considered either toss ups or likely Republican pick ups.
Analysts on all five Sunday shows predicted that Republicans would take control of the Senate. However, they said it would likely be a referendum against President Obama rather than a vote of approval for Republicans.
“The dominos never just split down the middle. They all go one way or the other. I think Republicans are going to win the lion’s share of the really close [races], but keep in mind these are home games for Republicans,” analyst Charlie Cook, of the Cook Political Report, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
“Six seats that Romney won by fourteen points or more, and those are probably the first six Democratic seats to go over the side.”
Cook’s colleague, Amy Walter, similarly pointed to the general environment as a key factor in the cycle.
“It’s an anti-establishment year, and right now the establishment is the Democratic Party. The president is a Democrat. People are frustrated with the direction that he’s taking the country and Democrats are the incumbent party in most of these Senate seats so if you’re frustrated … and that’s the second most important issue for voters, breaking the gridlock in Washington. Yes, Republicans but again when you’re the party in charge you get most of that blame.”
The Weekly Standard’s Bill Kristol told ABC’s “This Week” that he’s confident Republicans will take control of the Senate, but apprehensive about what comes next.
“What’s worrisome, of course, is that after this [Republicans] have to do two things. Do a good job controlling both of Congress which isn’t easy, and they need to win in 2016, which is a very different thing than winning in 2014.”
Republicans have a natural advantage in the 2014 cycle, but they will be defending more seats in 2016—a presidential election, where Democratic demographics turnout in higher numbers during than they do in midterms.
Voters disapprove of Republicans in Congress, and Sen. Rand Paul (R., Ky.) recently said on a campaign stop that the Republican brand needs work.
Priebus brushed off the criticisms.
“Well, what [Paul] said is that we’re actually on the right track and actually we’re doing a lot of the things that we should be doing, which is engaging Hispanic voters, black voters, Asian voters, talking to women across the country, not just for four months before an election, but for four years. The things I’ve been talking about and, by the way, leading the way on in our party for the last two years.”
“I do think if you’ve been looking at the polls,” Priebus added, “we’re winning with women in Kentucky, actually, McConnell is winning with women against Alison Grimes. Cotton is winning with women against Mark Pryor in Arkansas. So what Rand Paul is saying is what I’ve been saying, which is we have spent way too long as a national party showing up at the end and we’ve got to do better.”
Republicans made dramatic changes to their ground game after the 2012 election, and many committee staffers, publicly and privately, point to those improvements as evidence that they will see success in 2014 and 2016.

Sheila Astorino is the wife of Republican gubernatorial candidate Rob Astorino who’s challenging New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. Sheila is featured in this new ad that says what Cuomo is doing by misrepresenting her husband’s stand on gun control “unforgiveable.”

“Telling people my husband wants guns in classrooms? Guns in classrooms? You can’t be serious. You used an extracurricular rifle safety program in a rural upstate county to make it sound like Rob would threaten the safety of school children. “How dare you? How dare you try to scare parents and teachers with something as serious as that?” she asks. “What you are doing is unforgivable.”
Rob Astorino’s support of an extracurricular rifle safety program in a rural upstate (Sullivan) county was the apparent catalyst for Cuomo’s recent ad which drew the harsh response from Mrs. Astorino, who refers to herself as non-political.
Mrs. Astorino called Cuomo’s ads ugly and dishonest and said she has had to stop her children from watching TV.

Democrats Will be Brutally Unhappy with the Results of This New Poll

There is no question it is a tough election for the democrats who are desperately trying to distance themselves from Obama and his failed policies. With no real accomplishments to rally their voters, the campaign strategists have decided to focus on their tried and true, same old rhetoric. Consequently, we are hearing war on women, global warming, and raising the minimum wage speeches and commercials ad nauseam. The irony is that nobody cares about these issues.
The Huffington Post/Yougov just released poll results showing that 56% of likely voters believe the economy is the most important issue followed by healthcare at distant second of 35%.
Immigration, “how things work in Washington” and foreign policy/terrorism were clustered in the mid to low 20′s. The bottom three categories, social/women’s issues, the environment and gun policies were 13% and below.

Looks like the democrats are missing the mark big time. The poll shows that likely voters have heard the most advertising from democrats on social/women’s issues at 43% followed by the economy at a very distant 26%.
As many democrats are doing everything they can to distance themselves from President Obama he makes his infamous statement, “I’m not on the ballot this fall. But make no mistake: These policies are on the ballot, every single one of them.”
Just how will the stigma of Obama impact likely voters? The Huffington Post reports:
Nearly 7 in 10 voters said they consider their congressional choice this year to be a referendum on President Obama and his policies, with many giving him a thumbs down. Forty-seven percent said they’ll be voting against Obama, 22 percent said they’ll be voting to support him, and 29 percent said he won’t be a factor in their choice.
The democrats have nothing to stand on and they can’t seem to separate themselves from the ever so toxic Obama and his failed policies so they are drumming up issues that are not important to voters right now. The real question is what will the voters actually do on Tuesday. What do you think?

Corpses, zombies and illegals out in full force for Midterms

The Internet cartoon depicting the avuncular old geezer who looks like everybody’s Uncle Fred, Frank, or Felix accompanied by the comments: “Uncle Frank was a Conservative until the day he died in Chicago. Since then, he has voted Democrat”, describes Midterms 2014 to a ‘T’. Dearly departed relatives casting votes for Dems from their graves is not just the stuff of Internet jokes. Unfortunately, it’s part of the reality of present-day U.S. elections, including this coming Tuesday’s.
Halloween has come and gone, but count on corpses, zombies and illegals being out in full force for midterms.
Through well-organized poll and mainstream media manipulation, flagrant cheating, and just plain voter fraud, Obama and the Democrats own U.S. elections. It’s true that they even own your dead relatives after they’re long gone, and that’s no joke.
We the People should brace themselves for what will inevitably follow midterms. Check back on 2010 midterms for proof. Democrats on the Obama regime don’t just cheat before and during elections—but long after them too.
It isn’t going to matter how many Republicans replace the Democrats in the House and Senate because the Republicans were long ago made only the bit players in ‘Obama’s Never-Ending Biggest Show on Earth’.
Incredibly, the Democrats, whose fingerprints are all over gleaning votes from the obituary lists, have turned the tables around to blame it on the Republicans—days before Tuesday elections.
It’s there for all to see in an AP story out of Chicago:
CHICAGO (AP) — In a sign of how close the contest for control of President Barack Obama’s home state is expected to be, Illinois Republicans are mounting what they call an unprecedented and costly campaign to have ineligible people purged from voter lists and recruit their own election judges before November.
With their sights on unseating a Democratic governor and winning back several congressional seats, Republicans have allocated $1 million in Cook County alone — from fundraising and the Republican Governors Association — to examine voter rolls and recruit 5,000 GOP election judges to watch over polling places in Democrat-heavy Chicago.
In two counties east of St. Louis, the party is examining obituaries to ensure the deceased are removed from the rolls and tracking down death certificates. They’re looking for addresses where utility service has been cut off to determine if registered voters have moved. And they’re checking to see whether people are voting from addresses for vacant lots or commercial properties. Similar efforts are planned for Cook County.
State election officials say they also have noticed an uptick of GOP inquiries about voter registrations in at least two other counties in central Illinois.
Republicans say they’re guarding against voter fraud and responding to Democratic maneuvering to boost their side’s turnout, including adopting same-day registration and putting several non-binding questions on the ballot to appeal to liberal and working-class voters, such as whether Illinois should tax millionaires. The GOP fears outdated voter rolls and a last-minute Democratic push to the polling stations will allow ineligible votes.
“We’re not trying to silence anyone’s vote,” said Aaron Del Mar, chairman of the Cook County Republican Party, noting Chicago’s “vote early, vote often” reputation for past fraud. “Everyone should vote. It should only be once though.”
Illinois Democrats, in turn, fear the GOP “voter integrity” campaign could echo initiatives elsewhere aimed, they say, at making it difficult for minorities and other traditional Democrats to vote if they don’t have required identification or there’s any question about eligibility.
“We don’t interpret these efforts as anything other than voter suppression,” said Rikeesha Phelon, a spokeswoman in Illinois for the Democratic Governors Association.
Republicans nationwide have devoted substantial energy to initiatives aimed at combatting voter fraud — including passing laws in nearly three dozen states requiring voters to show photo ID at polling places. Critics note repeated studies showing little evidence of widespread fraud.
Illinois does not require a photo ID to vote. At the polls, election authorities compare a voter’s signature to one on file in a registration book.
Matthew Walter, president of the Republican State Leadership Committee, which helps elect Republicans at the state level nationwide, said the Illinois initiative is “not singularly unique” for a party focused on ensuring “fair and accurate elections.” But he said Illinois’ past reputation “gives a greater level of concern and urgency than many states.”
The Illinois effort could have an important impact in one of the nation’s hardest fought governor’s races — between Democratic incumbent Pat Quinn and the wealthy Republican challenging him, Bruce Rauner. Quinn won election in 2010 by less than 32,000 of 3.7 million total votes for governor, relying on heavy Cook County turnout.
The November count could be even closer, and both sides expect the race to be decided once again in Chicago area, where each party is appealing to minorities and moderate voters. Nationally, Republicans see the race as a prime opportunity to wrest away a Democratic governorship.
Combing through voter registrations is standard procedure for campaigns of both parties ahead of elections, as is county clerks’ systematic purging of rolls. But Illinois’ Republicans boast that this year they’re going well beyond past efforts.
State party officials wouldn’t comment on details of the initiative, saying only that they have contacted state officials and county clerks to ensure the election process is “transparent and adheres to the law.” But Illinois Republican Party Chairman Tim Schneider told The (Bloomington) Pantagraph that GOP efforts will “blow your mind” and be “something you’ve never seen.”
Rauner told The Associated Press he has been told about the initiative but that the state party, not his campaign, is overseeing it and raising funds. State Sen. Jim Oberweis, a Republican dairy magnate challenging Democratic U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin, said his campaign was working on it with Rauner’s campaign.
Oberweis told AP that Republicans believed they could find up to 60,000 ineligible voters in Chicago. But a campaign spokesman later said that information was “essentially third hand” and “possibly incorrect,” and referred all questions to a state party spokesman.
A Chicago Board of Election Commissioners spokesman said the agency’s cleanup identified about 50,000 “inactive” voters this year, a comparable number to previous years. They most likely represent people who’ve moved, but they can still vote if they show up with proof of address or by provisional ballot.
State Rep. Dwight Kay, a Republican facing re-election in the area east of St. Louis, said he’s working with the party on the voter initiatives because, he alleged, “there’s a potential here for wrongdoing” by Democrats.
“And we know Illinois doesn’t have the best record when it comes to fraud and corruption.”
And just to think most intelligent folk resented the Dems for counting on dead Uncle Fred’s vote from the grave while it was those dirty rotten scoundrels the Repubs who are the media-dubbed grave robbers.

All but forgotten is the biggest election fraud of 2010 midterms: the denial of America’s troops to cast their votes. In the prelude to Midterms 2014, American troops sent to fight Ebola in West Africa are being denied 21-day quarantine in countries like Italy and Spain.
As far as the Marxist misery-spreading Dems are concerned, the more things change, the more things stay the same.
In the tsunami that wiped out thousands of Democrat-held seats in 2010 midterms, according to White House officials, Obama, home alone, did not even watch the election returns of the night before, and left home turf on another one of his legendary trips abroad just two days after his Party lost control of the House of Representatives.
One year earlier, in gubernatorial elections, including in the all-important Virginia and New Jersey races, where huge GOP victories were the outcome, the White House issued a statement saying the president was not watching election returns and would not be making any remarks on the results.
According to ABC News, Michelle Obama had taken her daughters to a Miley Cyrus concert at the Verizon Center.
Obama no longer needs the outcome of elections to proceed with his diabolical plans to disappear the Home of the Brave and the Land of the Free. He somehow mysteriously keeps right on on truckin’ six years later.
Why are journalists everywhere so afraid to admit it: ‘There’s something seriously wrong with Barack Obama’.
And until the day he’s no longer in the White House, there will be something seriously wrong with America.

While many political observers are wondering what will happen if Republicans win control of the U.S. Senate in the November election, talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh is warning Americans to “buckle up,” as he expects President Obama to go wild with executive orders.
“As far as Barack Obama is concerned, he doesn’t care who wins the Senate,” Limbaugh said on his national broadcast Tuesday. “When it’s all said and done, it isn’t gonna change what he’s doing. I think everybody ought to buckle up for Obama in these last two years.”
Limbaugh said once January arrives, it isn’t going to matter which political party will be in charge of the Senate:
“He’s gonna executive action, executive order as much as he thinks he can get away with. And he’s gonna go, I think, at NASCAR break-neck speeds. And don’t think he’s gonna care what they say in the Senate, I don’t think he’s gonna care what they do in the Senate because he knows the one thing they won’t do is impeach him.
“And so Obama’s gonna tell himself, ‘There’s no way they’re gonna stop me.’ He’s gonna tell himself, ‘They won’t even try to stop me. They may try to stop me by not giving me the votes, but what do I care? I’m gonna sign executive actions. I’m gonna have [Ebola czar] Ron Klain out there leading the way for me.’”

Ben Stein: Obama “Most Racist” President in History
Stein calls Obama “most racist president there has ever been in America”

President Obama is the “most racist president there has ever been in America,” according to American political and economic commentator Ben Stein.
The economist and actor appeared on Fox News’ America News Headquarters on Sunday to discuss Obama’s domestic economic policies, which Stein says are racially dividing America.
“This president is the most racist president there has ever been in America,” Stein said to Fox’s Shannon Bream. “He is purposely trying to use race to divide Americans.”
He also pointed out that the number of Americans on welfare has vastly increased during Obama’s presidency and that the cuts to welfare programs have been miniscule despite claims by Democrats that the cuts, spearheaded by Republicans, are hurting minorities.
“More people are on food stamps than ever,” Stein said. “More people are getting welfare than ever.”
“What cuts are they talking about?”
“More people are getting subsidized healthcare than ever,” he continued. “What cuts are they talking about?”
“It’s all a way to racially divide voting in this country.”
Stein also rejected the Obama administration’s claim that they are not using race to divide Americans.
“They’re handing out pamphlets about this – and it’s been described a lot in the Wall Street Journal – [that say] ‘look, the Republican candidates are targeting President Obama because he’s black and you’re black, so you gotta go out and support him,” he stated. “That’s just nonsense.”
“The Republicans are the most pro-black party there’s ever been.”
“The Republicans are the ones who passed all the civil rights laws back in the 60s, not the Democrats,” he added.

President Dwight David Eisenhower (R) introduced the famous Civil Right Act in the middle 1950s. Then Senate president Lyndon Bains Johnson (D) refused to let in come to the US Senate floor to be acted upon. Johnson later, as US President, signed the bill into law after the GOP Congress passed it.
