Heavily redacted documents released on Wednesday appear to show the intentional deception perpetrated by Obama administration officials in the statements they made to the U.S. Congress and to American citizens that the 2,200 suspects — who were released from immigration detention centers as part of the Obama plan to save taxpayers’ money — were illegal aliens who only committed misdemeanors and posed no threat to the public.
The records that were originally obtained by USA Today, but ended up on the worldwide web, revealed that “undocumented immigrants,” a/k/a illegal aliens or criminal aliens, who had faced far more serious criminal charges, including people charged with kidnapping, sexual assault, drug trafficking and homicide were also released.
When lawmakers got wind of the facts as oppose to the Obama storyline, the Republicans flat-out accused the Obama administration of deceiving them and the American people about freeing dangerous criminals. Yet in their response, officials at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement — and not the actual agents and commanders working in the field — continue to claim they only allowed so-called non-violent detainees to be released back into U.S. society.
Texas Republican Congressman Lamar Smith told Fox News Channel that this is proof that President Barack Obama places more importance on being endeared by illegal aliens and their advocates than in protecting Americans from predators who rob, rape and kill citizens whose money is used to subsidize Obama’s “Dreamers.” “Rep. Smith is absolutely right, but don’t expect the news media’s Obama sycophants, who agree with the release of felons, to alert the American people,” said political strategist Mike Baker.
The released documents offer readers a more realistic view of illegal aliens that ICE released as the Obama administration got ready for the “drastic” budget cuts coming down the pike in February 2013. The records reveal that while the majority of illegal aliens released — two-thirds of them — did not have arrest or conviction records other than for illegally entering the United States in the first place. But one-third of the illegal aliens indeed were arrested or convicted on criminal charges that are more serious than the administration had disclosed.
“In other words, you commit a burglary and you’re a citizen you’ll serve your prison sentence. But if you’re an illegal aliens — a criminal alien — you get out of jail thanks to your benefactors in the Obama White House and the Democratic Party,” said former police lieutenant and counterterrorism unit member Douglas Benninger. “And the American people are too busy fighting one another over gender, race, ethnicity, minimum wage and all the other wedge issues to notice that the very definition of citizenship is being thrown ‘under the Obama bus’ — the Obama ‘express bus,'” said Benninger.
The Department of Homeland Security’s immigration officials claim they apprehend upwards of 30,000 illegal alien suspects per day. Although the agency regularly releases immigrants who have been charged with serious crimes, it typically does so because their legal status has changed or because they cannot be deported — not as a way to save money. However, the fact that they will release illegal aliens charged with serious crimes is the problem.
According to a recent Examiner news story, “Federal judges overturned an Arizona law that sought to deny bail to illegal aliens who are arrested for committing crimes that are classified as felonies, according to officials at the Maricopa County, Arizona, Sheriff’s Office, a law enforcement agency that’s been harassed and harangued by Attorney General Eric Holder and his boss President Barack Obama. While the decision is good news for illegal aliens, it appears to allow citizens who commit felonies to remain incarcerated while awaiting trial.”

With planes being grounded in my home state of Ohio and hospital workers in Texas contracting Ebola, Americans now have stark examples of the danger that President Barack Obama’s policies present.
Obama has refused to impose a travel ban on flights from Ebola-stricken African countries for political reasons. Our Campaigner-in-Chief is now dangerously derelict in his official duties.
But this weakness on an Ebola travel ban is simply an extension of his larger, pro-amnesty, open border position. While promising voters in 2008 that he would secure the border, it is clear that not only is the border not a priority, but Obama is promising to use an executive order to grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants in this country. In addition, not only are deportations down 15 percent this calendar year, the Obama administration is already secretly preparing to print permits for approximately 11 million illegal immigrants.
The President is acutely aware that the more impoverished immigrants come to America, the more muscle Democrats have to expand social welfare programs. But at what cost?
Local communities along the Southern border are especially hard by having to fund the types of law enforcement that the Federal government has failed to do. And states everywhere face the extraordinary burden of illegal immigrants, which are bussed around the country without warning. This puts an unbearable strain on public services, increases crime rates, and spreads dangerous communicable diseases such as scabies and chickenpox.
As illegal immigrant families – along with their children – are shoved into substandard housing facilities where bathrooms are not properly used, the chances for a widespread epidemic of deadly diseases among illegal immigrants is extraordinary. Anyone who thinks it’s more humane to keep those illegals in such conditions than send them home are sorely mistaken.
Shamefully, it was recently announced that thousands of illegal immigrants with felony convictions are being released from detainment. The cost is so great to manage incarcerated illegal immigrants that local agencies are unwilling to hold them beyond their scheduled release date to start deportation proceedings. The Obama administration is bending over backward to ensure these violent criminals are released into American cities.
In addition, the border security crisis is keeping our nation vulnerable to threats from terrorists, including the Islamic State (ISIS). While details are cloudy for national security reasons, Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) believes 10 ISIS terrorists have already been picked up at the border.
Also, it now appears ISIS may have had their first successful attack in North America, when a radical Muslim drove his car into two Canadian soldiers in a Quebec parking lot. One of the soldiers was killed.
With the threat of a growing welfare state, deadly diseases, Islamic radicals, Obama’s pro-amnesty agenda is reshaping America while putting us all at risk. The border must be secured now, before it is too late. And, our immigration policy must be reworked!

“He has violated his oath to uphold the law”

Former New Jersey Superior Court Judge Andrew Napolitano hit out at the President this week over revelations that the Obama administration is overseeing a federal order for 34 million blank work permits and green cards, an indication that Obama is set to issue an executive order on amnesty after the midterm election.
Speaking on Fox News, the libertarian analyst said “He can’t make illegals legal. But he can do the following: he can open the borders, arguably he did that a few months ago with the Central American children in Texas; he can issue green cards to whoever he wants; he can stop deportations for the rest of his presidency.”
“…both Republican Congresses and Democratic Congresses have given to Republican and Democratic presidents extraordinary authority.” Napolitano clarified.
The order for the blank cards, to be delivered over the course of five years, was actioned by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) department, which posted a draft solicitation earlier this month announcing its intention to seek a vendor capable of delivering “an estimated 4 million cards annually with the potential to buy as many as 34 million cards total.”
“The objective of this procurement is to provide card consumables for the Document Management Division (DMD) that will be used to produce Permanent Resident Cards (PRC) and Employment Authorization Documentation (EAD) cards,” the solicitation reads.
It adds that a vendor should be prepared to “support potential ‘surge’” in demand for the cards, and be ready to “support possible future immigration reform initiative requirements.”
An unnamed USCIS official revealed that the solicitation was posted “in case the president makes the move we think he will.”
The move prompted frenzied reactions from immigration watchdogs and GOP lawmakers. Bob Dane, spokesman for the Federation for American Immigration Reform called the move “another petulant display of contempt of Congress,” adding that “There aren’t enough federal employees from here to Pluto to do adequate background checks on 34 million.”
Rep. Lou Barletta, a Pennsylvania Republican, said Thursday that the solicitation is “proof that the groundwork is already being laid to grant amnesty post-election to millions upon millions of people who have broken our laws to enter this country.”
Further referring to the possibility of an executive order on amnesty, Napolitano said “That will be so inflammatory if the Republicans take the Senate you will see the “i-word,” impeachment, bandied about.”
“Whether they want to do it, whether they think it harms them in 2016 is a political judgment. But it would be a profound reason to discuss it.” he added.
“When the president discusses his discretion about how to enforce the law in such a way that it is the opposite of what the law was intended to do, then he has violated his oath to uphold the law and is a candidate for impeachment.”
