Who does President Obama believe is the real enemy? ISIS? Americans? Muslims? Christians?

Since 2008, we have been told that President Obama is Christian. However, are these assertions true? Gallop polls since 2008 have shown that fewer and fewer Americans believe he is actually Christian. As a matter of fact, President Obama’s approval ratings are and have remained the highest among Muslims than any other group in the United States.

The United States remains a predominantly Christian nation, with over half of our population identifying with a Protestant religion and a quarter with Catholicism. Yet in several speeches, President Obama has maintained that,

“Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation; we are now also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Hindu nation and a nation of non believers.”

Obama has made several references to his diversified religious upbringing. He said in his book, “Audacity of Hope,” that his father, stepfather and grandfather were Muslims. He attended a Catholic school and then a Muslim school. As an adult he claims he was finally baptized at Chicago’s Trinity United Church of Christ, by Jeremiah A. Wright in his 20’s. After his baptism, he said,

“Kneeling beneath that cross on the South Side of Chicago, I felt God’s spirit beckoning me. I submitted myself to His will, and dedicated myself to discovering His truth.”

Yet, when he was a senator, he made the following statements mocking Christianity and the Bible,

“which passages of scripture should guide our public policy?, Leviticus which suggests slavery is ok or should we go with Deuteronomy which suggests stoning your child if he strays from the faith or should we just stick to the sermon on the mound, a passage which is so radical, that it doubtful that our own defense department would survive its application. Folks have not been reading the bible.”

Are these the words of a Christian? Would any true believer stand up and mock the Bible and those who believe? Has he read his Bible? “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”- Galatians 6:7

Does the faith of the President of the United States matter? We are a country based on religious freedom. Would it make a difference if he were, in fact, Muslim? I think the more important question would be, would you denounce your faith in order to achieve a political goal? If he is in fact a Muslim, has he not denounced that faith by claiming he is a Christian in order to get elected? If he is, in fact, a Christian, has he not denounced that faith by mocking the Bible and those who believe? Can you be a Christian and still say, with a perfect arabic accent, that “the call to Arabic prayer is one of the prettiest sounds on earth at sunset.” Can you really believe and support both? Believers of either faith would say, emphatically, NO!”

Then why, if the president is Christian, does he continue to support Muslims and Islam over the American people and Christianity? He has spoken on numerous occasion supporting and championing the Muslim people and the Islamic faith, yet while Christians are being persecuted and slaughtered in 151 nations across the world, President Obama remains silent.

In the last week, with the recent beheadings of two American journalists, James Foley and Stephen Sotloff, we have heard President Obama speak two times regarding their gruesome deaths,

“I don’t want to put the cart before the horse. We don’t have a strategy yet.”

“They make the absurd claim that they kill in the name of religion. So ISIL speaks for no religion. Their victims are overwhelmingly Muslim, and no faith teaches people to massacre innocents.”

This month, Brother Rachid, a former Muslim posted a video called, “A Message to President Obama from a Former Muslim.” In his video, he says,

A Message to President Obama from a former Muslim

“I can tell you with confidence that ISIL speaks for Islam. ISIL is a Muslim organization.” ISIL’s leader, Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, holds a PhD in Islamic studies and, therefore, knows more about Islam than Obama does. There are 10,000 members in ISIL who are all Muslims and come from different countries, with Islam being the common denominator.”

He further says of his own upbringing,

“We have been brainwashed to hate all of you in our sacred texts, in our prayers, in our Friday sermons, in our educational systems. We are ready to join any group that one day would fight you and destroy you and make Islam the religion of the whole world , as the Koran says.”

“Stop being politically correct, to call things by their names; ISIS, ISIL, al Qaeda, Boko Haram, al-Shabaab in Somalia, the Taliban and their sister brand names are all made in Islam. Until you deal with the root of the problem, you will be just dealing with systems.”

It has become very obvious that ISIL has no respect for the United States. They have brutally beheaded two American citizens and threatened our nation. They have gone an a rampage intermittently killing men, women and children. They have slaughtered members of the Iraqi army and dumped them into mass graves. They have demanded Christians denounce their own religion and convert to Islam or be killed. Children have been beheaded and their parents forced to carry around their heads as an example to others. What do you call these types of people? Barbarians, thugs, brutes, Islamic terrorists? I think any of theses names would be an adequate description of who these radicals really are. But make no mistake, they practice the faith of Islam.

So, what about the innocent followers of Islam? In a recent panel at the Heritage Foundation, Brigitte Gabriel, the founder, president and CEO of ACT! for America, addressed a Muslim law student about the “innocents” in contrast to the “radicals” of the faith.

“There are 1.2 billion Muslims in the world today – of course not all of them are radicals. The majority of them are peaceful people. The radicals are estimated to be 15-25 percent……you are looking at 180-300 million people dedicated to the destruction of western civilization……It is the radicals that kill. It is the radicals that behead and massacre. Why should we worry about the radicals? When you look throughout history, most Germans were peaceful, yet the Nazis drove the agenda. As a result, 60 million people died, 6 million Jews. The peaceful majority was irrelevant. When you look at the Russians, most were peaceful, but the Russians were able to kill 20 million people, the peaceful majority was irrelevant. Most of the Chinese were peaceful, yet the Chinese were able to kill 70 million people. The peaceful majority was irrelevant. When you look at Japan prior to the war, most were peaceful, yet Japan was able to butcher its way across Southeast Asia, killing 12 million people, mostly killed with bayonets and shovels. The peaceful majority was irrelevant. On Sept. 11 in the United States, we had 2.3 million Arab Muslims living here…..it took 19 high jackers, 19 radicals to bring America down to it’s knees, destroy the World Trade Center, attack the Pentagon and kill almost 3000 Americans that day. The peaceful majority was irrelevant. So, for all our powers of reason and talking about moderate and peaceful Muslims, I’m glad you were here, but where are the others speaking out?………. It is time we take political correctness and throw it in the garbage where it belongs…..

So, can we talk about ISIL without discussing the Islamic faith? Our President cannot continue protecting the innocent majority of Muslims and ignore the problem of radical Islam. We cannot expect to have a successful foreign policy while we continue to put political correctness over the safety of the United States.

When we speak of political correctness, why does it not apply when our President is speaking about American citizens; the very people he has been elected to protect? Why does he have no hesitation in expressing his obvious anger and disgust when calling Americans, “radicals,” “flat-earthers,” “extremists,” “selfish,” “warmongers,” ‘bomb-throwers,” “hostage takers,” and “frauds?” Yet, in his press conferences referencing the beheadings of Americans by ISIL, he remains composed and restrained in a situation that calls for anger and fortitude?

It is time for the United States President to stop attacking American citizens and declare ISIS the real enemy!

Brutality has psychological, strategic and ideological objectives

September 6, 2014 By Steve Straub

Are ISIS fighters likely to end up in Hell for brutal and barbaric ways without 70 virgins?

Via CNN:

Our minds recoil at the thought. How is it possible that a human being could take a knife to the neck of another, an innocent man, and cut off his head? How could he do this even after perhaps hearing the pleas from his captive’s mother, imploring him to spare her child?

The recent slayings of journalists Steven Sotloff and James Foley by ISIS, the self-described Islamic State, are only the latest acts of brutality by an organization that has strived to make ruthlessness one of its most distinctive characteristics. Far from apologizing for its inhumanity, ISIS advertises it proudly, it taunts the world with it, and goes to great lengths to confirm that the acts that horrify us are not the work of rogue members but are, indeed, the organization’s policy.

Cruelty is a key component of the ISIS brand. The group has managed to conquer large parts of Syria and Iraq with a systematic and efficient plan. Like everything else it does, broadcasting barbarism is a calculated strategy.

But why?

Brutality has psychological, strategic and ideological objectives. That’s why other fighting forces have resorted to cruelty to achieve their objectives. History is replete with examples that we see echoed today.

As we avert our eyes from the carnage, from beheadings, mass executions and crucifixions; as we try to avoid looking at the worst of the online videos, it is apparent that the strategy has the potential to create a huge and powerful backlash. That cruelty is turning much of the world, including Arabs and Muslims, against ISIS. And the atrocities against American and other Western citizens are all but inviting the world’s most powerful armies to take on the Islamist militias.

And yet, by showing its fighters massacring the enemy without mercy, by flooding social media with the gruesome images, ISIS sends several messages that its leaders believe bring benefits that outweigh the risks.

Obama’s ISIS strategy ‘dead in the water’

President’s ‘coalition’ plan can’t match jihadi firepower

September 7, 2014 F. Michael Maloof

WASHINGTON – If President Barack Obama is looking for help from a coalition of Sunni-majority countries to resist the Islamic State, or ISIS, the consensus among regional analysts and military experts is that it won’t work.

Obama has been pushing at the recent NATO summit for the formation of a coalition to resist ISIS, but Great Britain has been stressing such a force should not be Western led. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and other administration officials have, in turn, been reaching out to nations across the Middle East.

Many of the key Sunni countries, such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, however, not only channel money to ISIS, but also have militaries inferior, particularly in command and control and tactical maneuvering, to ISIS’ capabilities – and its fanaticism and ferocity on the battlefield.

ISIS was able to score early battlefield successes against an Iraqi army that initially scattered upon being attacked, abandoning much of its modern – and expensive – Western military equipment for ISIS’ use.

This development came after the United States over a decade had spent hundreds of billions of dollars to train and equip the Iraqi army, only to have it evaporate on ISIS’ initial assaults into the country last June.

This acquisition of powerful military hardware, along with its takeover of oil wells and the robbing of banks approaching a billion dollars, allowed the Sunni jihadist group to incorporate vast amounts of territory, military bases and other strategic infrastructure facilities, which the Iraqi army now finds difficult, if not impossible, to retrieve.

Military experts point out that ISIS already has begun to adapt to air power attacks from the United States and even Syria, which has attacked ISIS positions around Raqqa, a Syrian city the ISIS announced as capital of its caliphate under which all like-minded extremist Sunnis are expected to live under strict Shariah law – or be killed.

While western airpower attacks have in some ways blunted ISIS’ advances in recent weeks, particularly around critical strategic locations such as dams in Iraq, ISIS is modifying its approach away from large convoys of vehicles that expose its positions to artillery fire.

ISIS has begun to downsize its forces to company and sometimes battalion-level operations, giving it even more flexibility and small-unit tactical capabilities, with mounting battlefield success. In effect, ISIS is adapting more to an asymmetrical warfare approach of unconventional warfare, or rapid-reaction guerrilla fighting, where hit-and-run tactics have proven successful in the past against standing armies.

Such an approach is opposite of how Arab countries typically operate, with large standing armies more difficult to maneuver at the tactical level. Arab armies also have a history of a lack of coordination when working with other Arab armies, especially in a unified command and control structure.

Despite its purchase of tens of billions of dollars in western military hardware, Saudi Arabia especially has displayed such obstacles in its fight against al-Qaida in neighboring Yemen. Capabilities of coordinated command and control and the ability to move armies swiftly require near constant military exercises to become proficient. However, there is no evidence such military exercises among Arab countries has taken place.

Unlike Arab armies, the ISIS leadership has diffused decision-making responsibilities to an emir, or prince, level, since caliph leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and his close military advisors cannot micromanage highly dispersed units across a vast area.

“The emirs of the Islamic State there are imbued with sufficient decision-making responsibility, which, when combined with often considerable experience in small unit, indirect fire and infiltration tactics, allows them to maximize the ability and flexibility of their motorized light infantry outfits,” reports an analysis of the open intelligence group Stratfor.

This approach then allows the emir to make rapid autonomous tactical and operational decisions to take advantage of quickly changing battlefield developments.

“Instead of charging into the opponent’s carefully laid out field of fire, the Islamic State leader can probe the enemy lines for weakness,” the Stratfor analysis said. “Facing stiff resistance or coming up against an ambush, the Islamic State emir can orchestrate a rapid retreat only to wheel back and flank the enemy.”

Experts acknowledge that the inhibitions of Arab armies to work well within or in coordination with other Arab armies are not only historical but cultural.

“There are many factors – economic, ideological, technical – but perhaps the most important has to do with culture and certain societal attributes which inhibit Arabs from producing an effective military force,” asserts retired U.S. Army Col. Norvell De Atkine.

Having trained with Arab armies for years, Atkine said military decisions are made and delivered from higher ups but with very little lateral communication. While he made these and other observations initially in a 1999 Middle East Quarterly article, military experts tell WND these criticisms remain relevant to today’s Arab armies.

“This leads to a highly centralized system, with authority hardly ever delegated,” Atkine said. “Rarely does an officer make a critical decision on his own. Instead, he prefers the safe course of being identified as industrious, intelligent, loyal and compliant.

“Bringing attention to oneself as an innovator or someone prone to make unilateral decisions is a recipe for trouble,” he said. “As in civilian life, conformism is the overwhelming societal norm, the norm that stands up gets hammed down. Orders and information flow from top to bottom. They are not to be reinterpreted, amended or modified in any way.”

“In every society information is a means of making a living or wielding power, but Arabs husband information and hold it especially tightly,” Atkine said. “U.S. trainers have often been surprised over the years by the fact that information provided to key personnel does not get much further than them.

“Having learned to perform some complicated procedure,” Atkine said, “an Arab technician knows that he is invaluable so long as he is the only one in a unit to have that knowledge. Once he dispenses it to others, he no longer is the only font of knowledge and his power dissipates.”

In a study of Arab military effectiveness, former Central Intelligence Agency analyst and Middle East expert Kenneth Pollack of Washington-based Brookings Institution said, “Certain patterns of behavior fostered by the dominant Arab culture were the most important factors contributing to the limited military effectiveness of Arab armies and air forces from 1945 to 1991.”

He attributed these limitations to over-centralization, discouraging initiative, lack of flexibility, manipulation of information and the discouragement of leadership at the junior officer level.

Atkine referred to a comment from General George Patton on preparation which he said is absent with Arab armies.

In referring to the Roman General and later Emperor Julius Caesar, Patton said, “In the winter time … [he] so trained his legions in all that became soldiers and so habituated them to the proper performance of their duties, that when in the spring he committed them to battle against the Gauls, it was not necessary to give them orders, for they knew what to do and how to do it.”

Based on assessments from these and other military experts, this cannot be said of present-day Arab armies, thereby raising serious question on Obama’s Arab coalition strategy toward ISIS and how it will be carried out.
