The REC Foundation launched Girl Powered, in collaboration with VEX Robotics, Inc., to double the number of girls on robotics teams over the next 5 years. To kick-start our effort, the REC Foundation invites our Event Partners and teams to consider hosting a Girl Powered workshop, open house, or outreach activity on October 11 to coincide with the International Day of the Girl. Deadline is Friday, September 30, to be one of the first 50 events to receive a package of free Girl Powered materials to support your event.
