I appreciate this varies from country to country, but I was taught that bailout cylinders are marked as follows:
Hypoxic Gas = Red tape marking
Normoxic Gas = Blue tape marking
Hyperoxic Gas = Green & Yellow tape marking
All cylinders are clearly marked with the MOD -But how do we mark up Oxygen (NX100)? Is it:
a, Yellow & Green striped tape (as it is frankly Hyperoxic)
b, White tape (I believe Kevin Gurr uses white above NX80)
c, Green tape (usual colour for Emergency Oxygen cylinders)
Thoughts appreciated. The reason I am asking is that I use standard bailout gasses 15/55, 35/25, NX50 and NX100 - Three out of the four gasses will be marked Yellow and Green, and would like to pick a different colour for the Oxygen.
