It’s dance recital time again. Another year of dance classes behind us. Our 9th year of participating in all this fanfare. 
This year is somewhat bittersweet, as this is probably the last time these two girls will be in the same performance. Lily made her school dance team, so she won’t be taking dance at this dance school next year. Being on the dance team along with her other extracurricular activities leaves little time for extra classes. We’ll more than likely move Ava to a different dance school closer to home. 
I’m not going to say never. Lily and Ava both love dance. After we live the dance team experience we may learn that extra dance classes are doable.
Before I know it, the littlest girl will be ready for dance, if that’s what she wants to do. In Ava’s case, after watching Lily do dance for so long she was more than ready. I have a feeling that may be the case again, especially with 2 big sisters to look up to...but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.
What I do know is that next year will be different. I’m proud of my girls for the hard work they’ve put in all year long. Seeing their skills improve from year to year is joy to witness.

One more thing, my big girl turned 12 today. Happy Birthday Lily!!! Your dad and I couldn't be more proud of the young lady you are turning out to be ;-)
