It's reveal day at Studio Calico and today I'm sharing my spread with the Camelot Project Life main kit only. This is Week 14 (clicking on the photos will take you to my gallery where you can see the layouts a bit larger than here on the blog) :

Please note : at the time of this posting, links to kits and coordinating items will only work for Studio Calico subscribers. Camelot will be available to the general public at 12 midnight EST tonight, the evening of April 27th.

This was the week of my birthday and I actually did two spreads for this week. This first spread was all about me and I combined a Project Life page protector with a traditional layout. The left side is a Design U from the Variety 5 pack. This was the first time I used this style (I was stitching a Design F to make the 12-3x4 pockets) and I love it!

Cupcakes, presents, tags and covering the gray, ha! The white alpha rub-ons are really awesome this month. Typically I cut my rub-ons off the sheet before I apply them (to make sure other rub-ons don't stick or transfer onto my project), but I got brave with this alpha set and didn't do that at all this time. They rub off so smooth and that made it a lot easier to make the quote card in the top left corner, which is one of my favorite cards in this spread.

Those little wood banners are adorable as well. I chose to just staple them on through the holes with my tiny attacher, but you could also use twine, thread, or thin ribbon.

On the layout side, I used 12x12 grid paper as my background and cut out Paige's frame file in the same paper. I used embellishments from the Camelot Project Life main kit to tie together the spread on the opposite page, along with Tina's printables, for a pop of color. Before I permanently adhered anything down, I used some ink daubers in matching colors (neon yellow toned down with white, green hills, orange soda and mint) behind a few of the frames, as well as some gold stitching around the frame portion of the background for added shimmer.

I centered my photo and the ampersand journaling card to line up with the divided page protector side and then framed them with the label-looking portion of the frame die cuts.

I used the gold banner in the top right corner that says "Today I am..." as a prompt and journaled a bit inside the labels. Adhering foam circles behind a few of the labels added a little dimension to the page.

Along with my scrapbook kit subscription, I'm picking up some more 3x4 grid cards and the new Zig Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Marker in Gold. I can't wait to play with it! Don't forget, if you are taking Maggie's Mini Book Mini Workshop in May, the Excalibur add-on is what she will be using.

Happy shopping and I'll be back later this week to share the second spread for Week 14. In the meantime, you can also see it here in the Studio Calico gallery along with the work of the rest of the Creative Team.
