Crop tops are EVERYWHERE this Spring, and I’ve been following the look on my Pinterest SS2014 Trends board. I’ve been looking for ways to wear this trend without revealing too much skin and feeling uncomfortable, and so far my favorite way is under a blazer!

I’m in shape, but I’m not 13.  Even before getting pregnant I wouldn’t wear mid-driff revealing tops, but now?  Are moms even allowed to show off their stomachs?  Who wants to see that?

Then I realized it really doesn’t matter who wants to see it! If you remember this post, I’m all about wearing whatever you want to!  So I say:

YES MOMS CAN WEAR CROP TOPS!

Now, the amount of skin you show depends on you, but the nice things about this trend is paired with a  high waisted skirt or pants you reveal the most flattering part of the mid-riff,  giving a very 1950s vibe.

If you don’t want to reveal ANY skin, but you still love the way crop tops look, search for one that is a little longer and then pair it with high-waisted pants or a skirt AND a suit jacket!   I tried out the look here and came up with this totally covered look!

Want to know more about this look and where I went?  I wrote about it here.

Investing

Way back in October / November of 2013 when I was researching this trend, I decided I wanted more crop tops in my summer wardrobe. I’ve spoken numerous times about my Fashion Foresight philosophy where I buy now, wear later,  so I can save money and wear trends. Well, in November of last year I bought this  lovely peach crop top for…….Can you guess how much I paid…??????

3 Euro and 49 euro cents!! What is that?…. like 5 bucks!!?  Whatever it is, it was SO CHEAP, and you know what I LOVE this top, I scored it  here, from my favorite cheap online clothing destination.  They have a year-round sale online that is always cheaper than their in-store sales.  I’m on a shopping hiatus (and I’ve already BOUGHT all of my new summer clothes!!)  so I won’t be buying anything….but if I could buy something new I’d get these crops tops, which are totally mom approved, and all under $15 found in the Sale Section!

A Little Help With Marketing…..

If you are reading this you made it to the end of my post!! Thank you!  I wanted to ask if you could be so kind as to like me on Facebook!  I share a lot of stuff to Facebook that I don’t get around to blogging about (like when I shaved my son’s head, or the new permanent blue pen makeover my couch just got!) …. but don’t get me wrong I won’t spam your feed with a million posts a day (promise!).

I would love to have 1000 likes by 2020! But I don’t want to pay Mark Zuckerberg for them!

If you like my blog LIKE MY PAGE …please Oh and a ton of likes for everything I post, and a million comments and shares daily is also GREATLY appreciated!  Don’t worry no one will see that you commented or liked….Marky has made sure that I have to pay for that! Don’t believe me? Read this!
