The Realty Plus Conclave and Excellence Awards (Pune Chapter) opened with hopes and queries of the masses and the classes and went on to honour the leaders of the Pune Real Estate market.





The Realty Plus Conclave and Excellence Awards, presented by Master builders solutions, BASF’s brand for the construction industry and Powered By, Asian Granito India Ltd., held at the J W Marriott, Pune on February 05th, 2016 was an evening filled with enthusiasm, energy and positivity. The evening saw the stalwarts of real estate business in Pune. The major highlights of the evening were Mr. Ishwar Parmar and Mr. DS Kulkarni, whose words mesmerised the audience and gave an insight to the young guns from the fraternity.

The evening started with lamp lighting by Mr. Anurag Batra, Chairman & Editor-in-chief of BW Businessworld and exchange4media group, Mr. Ishwar Parmar, Chairman & Managing Director, Ishwar Parmar Group, and Mr. Shashikant Limaye, OSD Pune Metro Rail Project who graced the occasion and left the audience spellbound with his insight on the Metro Project and other aspects of infrastructure. The gathering was welcomed by Anurag Batra with an inaugural address by Mr. Ishwar Parmar and thoughts on Pune Metro Project by Mr. Shashikant Limaye. Mr. Ishwar Parmar, Chairman & Managing Director, Ishwar Parmar Group, in his key note address spoke about the market and trends in the year and what was expected in 2016. “This year (2016) is not a lucrative year. Prices are going down. Lot of emphasis would be on availability of land and pressure on selling.  We have minimum stock in Pune so need of the hour is to build infrastructure (both social and physical) to fill the gap,” he said. Chief Guest Mr. Shashikant Limaye, OSD Pune Metro Project, said, “We need to develop for the future. Need to have futuristic approach. Developers are the makers of the Pune city and it’s in their hands to make the city developed. We should not be depended on government for help rather developers should come forward with innovative ideas and create vision for the future.”



Soon after the speeches and introduction of the stalwarts were over, the conclave started with its first plenary session – “Infrastructure – a boost to real estate” moderated by Director, Investment Services, Colliers International, Mr. Suresh Castellino. The speakers of the session were Mr. Bal Kulkarni, Managing Director, Delcons Consultants India Pvt. Ltd., Mr. J.P. Shroff, Chairman and Managing Director of Shroff Group, Mr. Nilotpol Kar, Business Director, South Asia, for the Construction Chemicals, Division of BASF India Ltd., Mr. Ravi Varma, Chairman, Chairman – NAR India, Mr. Sarvesh Javdekar, Director, Vilas Javdekar Developers. A healthy discussion saw volley of questions from the audience.

Next was to honour real estate stalwarts. The Realty Plus gives Scroll of Honour Awards every year to few selected developers to acknowledge and recognize their contribution made in the field. This year, in Pune chapter partnered with Master builders solutions, BASF, Realty Plus felicitated Mr. Amar Manjrekar, Chairman & Managing Director, Amar Builders, Mr. Arvind Jain, Managing Director, Pride Group, Mr. Ishwar Parmar, Chairman & Managing Director, Ishwar Parmar Group, Mr. Nitin Nyati, Chairman & Managing Director, Nyati Group, Mr. Shravan Agarwal, Joint Managing Director, Pride Purple Group, Mr. Vilas Javdekar, Chairman, Vilas Javdekar Developers. The scroll of honour was presented by Mr. Nilotpol Kar, Business Director, Construction Chemicals – a division of BASF, South Asia, Mr. Shashikant Limaye and Mr. Anurag Batra.

The Pune chapter was a perfect occasion to unveil the coffee table book entailing India’s Top 100 Luxury Projects – an initiative of Realty Plus presented by Dr. Fixit & Powered by Magicbricks NOW. This book would identify the top luxury (completed and upcoming) residential project across India. The book was unveiled by Mr. Abdulkader Bengali, Business Head, Large Waterproofing Group, Pidilite Industries, Mr. Anurag Batra and Mr Limaye.

After unveiling the book, it was the time to start the second plenary session “Revival of real estate markets”. The session was moderated by Mr. Sudhir Nair of CRISIL. The esteemed panellists were Mr. Abraham Mathew, VP – Sales & Marketing of Sobha Ltd., Mr. Himanshu Agarwal, Director of Brahma Corp, Ms. Kajal Malik, Chief Marketing Officer of Guardian Corporation, Mr.  Vishal Jumani, Director of Supreme Universal enlightened the audience at the conclave with accurate and deep understanding of the subject.

It was followed by third plenary session Impact of Real Estate Bill moderated by National Director, JLL India, Mr. Joy Sanyal. The speakers of this session were Mr. Abhijit Jagtap, Skyi Developers, Mr. Amit Goel of Goel Ganga Group, Mrs. Darshana Parmar Jain of Ishwar Parmar Group, Mr. Shrikant Paranjape of Paranjape Schemes Constructions Ltd., and Ms Kajal Malik Chief Marketing Officer of Guardian Developers. The distinguished panellists along with Mr. Sanyal highlighted the nitty-gritty of the bill and its consequences once it comes into practice.

Now was the time to present the Realty Plus Excellence Awards to the participants who had put their hard work in bringing the quality work to the end-customer and felicitate and encourage the developers to work hard. The award was presented to the winners by Mr. DS Kulkarni, who also received the coveted ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ at the hands of Mr. Batra.

Mr. DS Kulkarni delivered an emotional and very apt speech, which received a huge applause from the entire fraternity.

The award for Affordable Housing Project of the year presented to VTP Group for Urban Bhagyasthan. The award for Mid-Segment Project of the year presented to Guardian Developers for Guardian Eastern Meadows. The award for Luxury Project of the year given to Amar Builders for Amar Eternity. The award for Super Luxury Project of the year presented to Supreme Landmarks for ESTEBAN and The Phoenix Mills Ltd for Phoenix Fountainhead. The winner of Developer of the year – Residential was Kolte-Patil Developers Ltd. The winner of  Emerging Developer of the Year – Residential was VTP Group. The award for Residential Property of the year was presented to Bramhacorp Ltd. For Suncity Platinum and Sobha Ltd. for Sobha Garnet I. The winner of Commercial Property of the Year was Vilas Javdekar Developers for EURO School. The winner of Themed project of the year was Nahar Homes LLP for F-Residences. The Young Achievers’ Award was presented to Mr. Aditya Javdekar CEO & Managing Director for Vilas Javdekar Developers. The winner of Excellence in Delivery presented to Godrej Properties for Godrej Horizon – Undri. The award for Villa Project of the year given to Gera Developments Pvt. Ltd. For Gera’s Isle Royale. The winner of Green Project of the year was Ishwar Parmar Group for River Residency.

The winner of Architect of the year – Residential was Planet 3 Studios P Limited for SEVEN. The winner of Digital marketing campaign of the year was Amura Marketing Technologies. The winner of Innovative Marketing Concept of the Year was Gokhale Constructions for NAVRATROTSA. The winner of Consumer Connect Initiative was Gera Developments Pvt. Ltd.
