Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal has bought a mansion of his very own in McLean, VA, which is a quick hop over the Potomac River to Washington, DC.

The shooting guard paid $3.2 million for the newly constructed, 8,134-square-foot house on a half-acre lot and closed on the deal in late October. The upper and lower floors boast 10-foot ceilings, the kitchen has marble counters, and there are hardwood floors throughout. There’s also an exercise room, library, home theater, and “bunk room” with a chalkboard wall and built-in bunk beds. A separate pool house has a kitchenette and loft.

The six-bedroom, seven-bath home was listed for $3.5 million, which means the high-scoring guard was able to score a bargain.

Beal, 23, has been with Washington Wizards since they drafted him third overall in 2012. In July 2016, he signed a five-year contract extension with the team worth $128 million.

We’re curious why a young sports star would pick a big ol’ house in McLean, a DC suburb known for its good schools and the CIA headquarters. McLean has been the home of former Secretary of State Colin Powell, former Vice President Dick Cheney, and a revolving cast of Supreme Court justices.

Could Beal’s cuddly relationship with model/actress Kamiah Adams have something to do with the purchase? The two have been holding hands for over a year. Adams is a reality TV personality known for her appearances in “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.” She previously dated rapper Lil’ Fizz.
