In March 2014 Leadership Point Radio began a partnership with ROC and set up shop for their weekly broadcast to air on both iTunes and Stitcher Radio from the La Jolla location of ROC on the 6th floor of the prominent Executive Square building.  Steve Scott is host of the popular weekly show that as the name alludes to highlights exemplary leadership in both the profit and nonprofit sectors.  Rapidly growing in devoted listeners and subscribers, Scott’s approachable, informal but effective way to get to the heart of the matter, or really what matters in business is definitely part of the allure of the radio interview show.

Humble and unabashedly honest, the “simple format of interviews” feels more like eavesdropping on a worthwhile conversation among self reflective successful leaders from all walks of life. Scott knows a thing or two himself about the corporate world having risen to the top and stumbled along the way as most successful people have done. It’s all about the motivation and inspiration behind the real leaders of today that Leadership Point Radio aims to “air” to the world, but unlike many other radio broadcasts in this genre Scott’s interviews are more like introspective conversations, allowing greater insight from the array of inspirational guests.

The alliance between ROC and LPR (Leadership Point Radio) actually goes deeper than simply a matter of geography.  At all of ROC’s locations the clients that occupy the unique progressive office space also happen to also be highly successful leaders in their own various industries, making the potential guest list for LPR’s radio show even more robust and extensive.

A majority  of the interviewees are recommended to Steve Scott personally and include authors, gurus, corporate executives, politicians and public speakers- just to name a few.

Since becoming settled at his new ROC La Jolla location, Steve Scott of LPR has already had the opportunity to interview Thomas Mortensen of Medicon Valley Alliance ( a life sciences non-profit entity) and Film Director Bruce Caulk (Intelliscape Films)  is slated to be interviewed within the next couple of weeks.

Turning the virtual microphone to Scott, when asked if there were any one person he would love to interview, (living or not), he replied with a long list of people who “overcame the status quo to lead (to) a major change. Winston Churchill, Crazy Horse, Ghandi, Nick Tesla, George Washington Carver, Elon Musk…and Bill Gates, but not for the business leadership or (even) the technology, but for his ‘we can cure/feed the whole world-drive.’”

Professional cross promotion and gaining invaluable enlightenment from others are two benefits that are completely unique to ROC clientele. The opportunities each of the unique and prestigious ROC locations offer networking, educational, alliance, promotional and even social opportunities that are not available with traditional corporate office space or even any other virtual offices in Southern California.

Tapping into the well of success requires drinking the water, taking it in or in other words, absorbing advice and insight from people that have not only accomplished great things through leadership but want to share what they have learned along the way with anyone who will listen.  Mixing and mingling the endeavors of both ROC and LPR is making the cup of opportunity runneth over!

All of the past and present LPR interviews are available via podcast on the LPR website and iTunes for download. Steve Scott is also on Twitter (@SteveScott), YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+ and Facebook.
