Mona MELisa's Peel, Play and Learn Colors and Shapes Set
Classrooms and play spaces can often get crowded with learning materials. Teachers and parents rely on wall spaces to stick extra learning materials. I've filled up bulletin boards, magnetic boards, easels, and concrete walls with centers, calendars, and charts. In the past, I've tried masking tape, sticky tack, or staples for my displays. Of course, the masking tape and sticky tack rarely held. Oh, and those 1.2 billion staples that were used in an average school year? They had to be removed! AHH! Walls are a great space for learning, but organizing the learning materials posted on the walls can be overwhelming.

Peel, Play and Learn Sets by Mona MELisa are fabric interactive play sets that hang on your wall. They aren't vinyl or stickers; they can be removed, reused, and easily manipulated. Mona MELisa Designs sent us the Peel, Play and Learn calendar to try. It included the large sticky wall calendar shown above. It also included each of the months of the year to peel and stick, as well as numbers 1-31. Peel and Stick pieces featuring tons of holidays were also included. The months of the year and the days of the week are printed in both Spanish and English. Everything is made from printed, sticky fabric pieces.
What we loved about our Peel, Play and Learn Calendar:
1. No more staples. No more tape. I am so done with stapling all the calendar pieces up each month to a large wall calendar. The Peel, Play and Learn Calendar sticks to the wall with no additional adhesives. According to the website, the pieces can be cleaned and reused over and over.
2. Peel, Play and Learn Set provide hands on learning for kids. My boys loved manipulating the calendar at the start of each month. We have changed our calendar out two times already and it has held up to being handled a lot by the boys. They like to add the weather to the calendar and also add the holidays. I put the additional months in order below the calendar with the holidays next to each month. My five year old loves to count up how many months left until Halloween, Christmas, etc.
3. They have additional peel, play and learn sets. Mona MELisa Designs covers many learning activities like endangered species, telling time, colors, human body, and more. It would be so fun to change up these peel, play, and learn centers since they are super simple to remove and reuse.
